Perspective
Currently I'm on my laptop doing a ton of promoting for my Kickstarter campaign, we've got 10 DAYS LEFT so if you are reading this please check it out if ya haven't and pledge. If 30 people pledge like $16 I think I figured out right NOW then it'd be funded. In the background of my furious typing is a recording of "In Good Company" (which is on the record we're campaigning to fund on KS) coming out on October 24th at Brothers Drake Meadery. The recording was done on May 15th, 2012 and it's from the practices with Jeff Bass and Justin Campbell the rhythm section on the album. The song has come a LONG way, and I was listening to recordings of the show this past Monday at Rumba Cafe and it's just evolved a ton. In this whole process I've just tried to be as fastidious as possible (I learned that word from the movie Stranger Than Fiction, btw..) sorry ADD..so it's cool because I have the dates of most of the recordings and can really gauge progress and be able to look at things in that historical context. I could listen to this recording and say "wow, this is not great" or I could say "wow, we've come a long long way since 2012". Here's for perspective.
