It's almost too easy.

That s h i m m e r unfolding behind her in the now-scattered quiet? The mocking cackle that bubbles up in her shadow past her stalker's petty grin? The only thing missing was the unmistakable feeling of a cold steel barrel being placed flush against the back of @feeling-of-deja-vu's skull.

See, she'd decided to forego her pistol here. Yeah, it would've been quite the punctuation on her entrance [ ... ] but this petty pirate knew she'd a much better one to dangle over the pilot's shoulder as she leaned in w a y too close to her ear.

loosely entangled within lena's arms wasn't such a bad place to be, and it had gotten a little too common for ashe's usual. that being she rarely called on someone again. after-all it was easier to keep folks at a distant. particularly a fucking overwatch agent- and she's regretting this trap she got herself caught up in. no matter how nice it was before because in a startling second, everything split. she found herself practically throwing the other off her in the heat of a nightmare. lucky for lena, ashe instead awoke in a sweat, a strangled scream coming from her to wake the both of them to her own shrill sound.

tears had clearly been streaming down her cheeks. and it takes a second for the outlaw to figure out where the hell she is. heart pounding in her chest and she mutters some kind of apology. fingernails had dug into lena's arm, enough to cause a little bleeding. ashe's breathing is still bad, hacking and reaching for a cigarette, leaping off the bed in a panicked motion. "god fucking dammit" the people she thought were dying though are long gone and she ends up staring at lena in a huff. and she doesn't stick around to see her reaction. she doesn't want her to ask about it. instead throwing a shirt on, and grabbing her smoke to head out to the balcony. trembling lips taking a relieving puff and she's still streaming tears. pissed that they won't stop. the cold night air ain't helping. at least her heart is slowing back down.

Leon does relax a little at Lena's assurance.

"Hrm... well, it's just rum now," he says with a frown, before mostly standing up from (and somewhat rolling off) the couch. He grabs the bottle and pads toward the kitchen.

"But I'll make you something that actually tastes good."

His walk is fine, considering how off-balance he feels, but once in the kitchen he takes a moment at the counter to reorient himself. Thankfully he'd left the Mai Tai ingredients out and wouldn't have to search for them.

"You seem like you've been busy," he remarks as he grabs a clean glass from a cabinet and begins making each of them a... fairly proper cocktail. He's just eyeballing the ratios, but... close enough. "You want a double?"

warm chuckle, she can't help it, something about advanced explosions made her downright giddy. "oh? that explodey fellow. bit yappy for my taste, but he's got some decent ideas. listen, i ain't as messy as his lot. these were made special, and i know better than anyone how to control 'em." yet, even bob sweated a little oil as she spoke. "surely you'd be willing to share at least a blueprint with little ol' me.~"

on a scale of one to ten, who is the most fun to bully over at talon?

It was the expected answer. It was the obvious one... It was also the most peer-reviewed one. And judging by the amount of 'tabs' she's condensing, just so she has enough 'desktop space' to start opening up folder, after folder, after folder of 'pranks, goofs, gaffs, gags, jokes, jests, and puckish dick moves'? It was thoroughly researched.

Moira? She's fucking evil. And VERY Obsessive Compulsive. I tried with her a few times, don't get me wrong... Big Yikes.

Boss-Man? He was fun. He loved a good prank, especially at his own expense! The problem was, he was a big believer in 'getting someone back as good as they got you.' And he ... saves his subtlety for strategy and wartime, let's just leave that one there.

I would never bully Siebren. That old man is being bullied by the fucking Universe, güey, he didn't need me there making things any harder for him.

Amelie is a 'fool me once, I'll kill you' type. I've had to out-translocate her venom mines once or twice, and it's... exciting, don't get me wrong! But it sucks not being able to breathe normally for a week afterward. Plus, she doesn't really sleep. It's hard to scheme on someone who always has at least four eyes open. Not impossible! Just more effort than I like to put in casually.

Viper I REALLY liked bullying! You ever hear the term 'gay panic'? It's the funniest fucking thing to incite in someone, especially when you aren't even trying. Admittedly, I did ease up on her, though... Saw what one of her cocktails did to someone's rib cage once... ¡Carajo!

Mauga's a meathead. Bullying him is like bullying a brick wall with fucking chainguns attached to it. Although I'm pretty sure he still thinks Moira's first name is 'Doctor'. So ... small victories, you take them where you can.

Emre is an industry plant; I don't talk to him unless I have to.

Baptiste was my sweet angel. I never treated him wrong. Unless it was very funny, but he left really early on in my time there, so... Never got a chance to see how he'd have held up over the years.

Which just leaves us with? Gabe. The 'Grim Reaper'... Yeah, whatever. Big fucking soft-ass teddy bear with a growly voice. I bully him all day long, and the most he has for me is an exasperated grumble. And I know what you're thinking! 'Isn't it uncool of you to be bullying a 60-year-old man?? He's got joint problems, and he protested for Harambe.'

Okay, yeah, sure... Have you considered that it's really fucking funny?
