Nahhh. I just used my December work money. It was a sobbing sacrifice, but my baby is back and it's working so it's fine. I'll wait for a while longer - work again these vacs. I haven't gotten to Adventure 02 yet but I think I have an idea to who your (asshole) fave is :P

Bro, for the longest time I had no idea what you were going on about. I kept thinking you were referring to the 30 Seconds to Mars song and I wondered if you wanted to talk about the post I made about its “characters” and which role the Animorphs would play in it.
And then I saw the meme I posted and remembered I wrote a fic with this name. Facepalm.
3. What’s the part of the fic I’m most proud of?
Um… I… got it done really quickly? No, really, I have no idea?? This wasn’t a planned fic, or one based on a headcanon or anything. I was just talking to you about Alloran and my Jake feels meshed with that and as I thought about their similarities I thought about what would happen if the one difference was that Jake lost what he was fighting for and Alloran got to go home.
So… the fact that I got off my ass and wrote Alloran, I suppose?
4. What part of the fic was the hardest for me to write?
Alloran, Alloran, Alloran, Alloran, Alloran.
5. What part of the fic am I still dissatisfied with?
- The flow between Alloran rejoicing in his freedom and going to find Jake
- Jake’s reaction
- The ending. Very much the end.
- Maybe Alloran calling him Prince Jake? But I kinda really like that so…
I don't think my fic is worth even a quarter of the praise you heap on it but you disagree with me. Making you scream and cry in both/either happiness or heartbreak is a hobby of mine, although I enjoy the latter more. We share a ferocious love for characters who do wrong things for what was once good reasons. We also share various very unpopular headcanons across multiple fandoms. You love (to hate) me.
All I had to read was the first clause, up until "but" and I knew exactly who you were.
You do deserve that much praise so hush. And possibly get a new hobby? And oh, HELL, all the love for our Poor Blue Deer and the unpopular headcanons. I love that somebody else is willing to sit in the unpopular corner with me so much.
It almost makes up for the fact that you mostly maim my feels.
