It break him, chest feeling heavy as if one dropped a ton of bricks there. That sinking feeling.... pulling him down...and down... in nothing back darkness as her voice rang louder and louder in his head.

He stopped, a clarity hitting his mind, “...she is here with me and I need to keep her safe now. If I do not act, I will lose her again!”
