That’s fantastic! Can I ask what the timeframe was between your starting and current? Or any advice you might have? Our starts and goals are similar :)
well, I have a tag here that's documented these past few weeks that I've been posting it on tumblr! before that, it's been kind of on-again-off-again weight loss with the documentation being back at my parents' house, but took place overrrr four months or so? but the more drastic weight loss is taking place now that I live on my own and control the food that enters my house. The timeframe for that bit would beee, starting weight 226 to weight 207, over the course of six weeks, with me typically pulling about five pounds at weigh in, though I have some threes and zeroes from bad weeks or unfortunate circumstances (like having my car break down and having to eat only at the school whoops) but I guess that the technical average I lose is like 3 lbs a week haha
um idk about advice because I'm kinda just winging it
I just try to eat lots of lean protein and healthy food likeee I have eggs for breakfast and I typically have salad and yogurt for lunch and chicken for dinner (I am poor so my menu is stale and repetitive :'D)
I don't do much exercise especially on the weekends but I go to school at a reeeally big school that's built into a hill and I take this really steep slope up to class so that counts as my daily exercise whoop whoop
mostly what I'm basing my decisions on is this book I read once it's called the 17 day diet and it creates 17 day cycles of food choices recommended to lose weight that gradually become less strict (I think there's three or four cycles?) and it's really in depth and up front about how it's a lifestyle change as opposed to an actual diet and I dig it
I only read it once and I'm not really following the cycles but it has pages and pages of potential menus and lists of recommended food choices so it was a good starting point for figuring out what was good to eat
