About: banners
This is the first thing I care about like always, potential banners in which to pull, but outside the {Legendary Hero Remix} and the mysterious seasonals and Legendary Hero, I don't find much of interest to pull on, so I'll summon for Legendary Lucina soon as her rerun is live... speaking of which, just two more days!! Pretty much psyched to pull for best Awakening girl. 💙🦋
This time, I'll record my summoning session in my PC since my phone might not have enough storage for a lengthy summon marathon, whereas my PC does. I know waiting for the night of 15th for the seasonal units' trailer would be ideal, but Lucina is only missing 4 merges and I have 610 [Orbs] as of this post, and, as someone that really appreciates her, I've been looking forward to a chance to finish merging her since months.
Also, we're having yet another [Heroes with Push] banner, is I.S. pushing these onto us? 🤨
And the rest of the stuff
Damn, the anniversary is coming in about three weeks? Time flies.
I guess it's related to the sus gap we've got in the calendar, there might be something grand in store since we're talking about the fifth anniversary since the game launched back in 2017, I'm definitely looking forward to it.
I found an interesting thing in Twitter but Legendary Male Byleth isn't returning in those banners until April this year... still, I.S. sure messed up here.
Anyway, I first thought that [Summoner Duels R] was essentially the same thing, something that was quite wrong in one of my previous post, because it's a separate event yet still mostly the same as the vanilla game mode, but seasonal as it last 4 days (explained here), I'm not really thrilled by it but I'll try to get the rewards because I need them.
[Tap Battle] returns also (details on the theme here)... this game mode is unfortunately not so rewarding, but it's at least something different from your usual maps, so it's not too shabby, but I.S. literally mostly forgot about these and is just rerunning old ones from time to time... I'd still like to see some revamp in these.
So... this month...
It's going to be pretty tame for me, only thrilled for Legendary Lucina's rerun (out of everything announced for January) then that's it, and unless any of the new seasonals is interesting, I'll head back to saving [Orbs] after said summoning, but we'll see.

Anyway, here are my thoughts and plans I have in case you're curious, I also point out some things and throw in a few guesses.
Banners
Those are the things I often look forward to the most, deciding where and when I want to pull. So...
For starters {Rein} skills are now getting a banner, this is likely going to be a great banner as it'll have three people each with juicy fodder, the skills in this family have helped several fliers to stand on their own ground and even serving as support with smart play-and-position.
But... [Iceberg] and... [Ignis] themed banners too? I've glanced through the list of regular pool units and it doesn't look like there's going to be much actually good fodder or units with recent benefits for the latter, but the former looks somewhat better to probably pull on with potential candidates such as Say'ri, Fallen Male Morgan and some others; with that said though, Brave Hector is indisputably the best candidate the [Ignis] banner can get and would perhaps make it kind of interesting to pull on.
The next of the {Double Special Heroes} is coming up in two days and I keep forgetting those exist... they're more of a "clickbait" to get you into summoning with allegedly superior rates, but without having multiple targets in mind for such banners, it's best to let them pass by and pull for the seasonal you want once they rerun, I can't count how many times I've read people having tough luck in these and I've even experienced it myself when Soiree Nephenee got her rerun in one of those. Each time I pull beyond the free summon in those, I'm reminded why those banners are more a nightmare than worth the trouble so I just free pull on the most interesting color then save.
Speaking of it though, I've checked the last two ones (here and here) and my prediction is that we'll be getting these units:

Valentine's Henriette
Blue:
Spring Minerva
Young Tana (more likely than Young Lyon who's the semi-demote of his debut banner)
Green:

I've been doing some researching in Gamepedia, looking for the next seasonals to make it onto those banners and haven't rerun in those, I think I'll nail it but I mean let's wait until the 13th to find out. 👀
And with that aside, all that's left to look forward to is the rerun with Marianne & Co. along with the associated [Forging Bonds], the Legendary Hero and the New/Special Heroes... oh and the Halloween seasonals from past years coming back! I've been actually looking forward to those, here's a quick masterlist for each banner:
[Trick or Defeat!]: the 2017 one, comes back the 11/2nd and offers Nowi (red), Henry (green) and Jakob with Sakura (both sharing colorless).
[The Land's Bounty]: the 2018 one, comes back the 10/28th and offers Myrrh (red), Niles (blue), Kagero (green) and Mia (colorless).
[A Monstrous Harvest]: the 2019 one, comes back the 10/26th and offers Duo Hector+Lilina (red, and our first Duo Hero! It's been two years already), Ilyana (blue), L'Arachel (green) and Dozla (colorless). For some reason it's... again... called [Treat Fiends], it seems it was like that last year and if there's any reason to change it, I don't think there's any need to begin it... dumb move here, this should be named [A Monstrous Harvest] as it always was, that new name is misleading as there's much less info you can find if you try looking it up.
[Dragons Harvest]: the 2020 one, comes back the 10/20th one and offers: Dheginsea (red), Harmonic Young Tiki with Ninian (blue), Fallen Female Robin (green) and Xane (colorless, the semi-demote).
And... the one I look forward to comes right on the same day the Legendary Hero will be revealed (4 hours before said seasonal banner is up), and it's quite convenient since I can decide whether to pull or not. I might pull anyway but at the present, not feeling much like it as before because of the free merge on Halloween Kagero I'm aiming to get, and I could rack up some more [Orbs] for other banners, I'd be happy to get Halloween Ilyana and Harmonic Young Tiki with Ninian, they're so precious but they're both in different banners and currently I don't feel like I need anyone else, so I might sit outta all of them.
The events and whatever else
...I never look forward to [Grand Conquests], it's a chore to complete and not as rewarding as most other events, but it helps newer players the most with [Hero Feathers] and a few [Orbs] I guess.
Caellach and Veld will also rerun this month, and gosh it's been nine long months waiting for Veld, eh? Might build the guy someday because I really appreciate the Jugdral sub-series and its top-notch cast Imo, but I've been busy with other projects so I haven't had anything to spare him, however, I've kept all the free copies I've gotten... Caellach's gonna be fodder, that's for sure.
[Hall of Forms] is also coming up some time after the New Heroes, but in the datamine we'll know our next Forma, which should be from Radiant Dawn, I'm quite curious for who will be there, even though I'm unable to purchase Forma.
[Lost Lore] a.k.a semi-AFK newbie resource farm is also going to make its way again early November.
And Annette is getting a [Bound Hero Battle] with Mercedes (this means those two are getting a banner too, along with a third unit yet to be known) later this month... no idea who could be the third unit on the associated banner since I never finished Three Houses, but I'll just throw in Dimitri as a wild guess, that's it.
Other than that, just the usual stuff and all that, not really much of interest... [Limited Hero Battles] will appear again in less than three hours but I haven't found any info about them... datamined or not, guess we'll wait and see.

Highlights and thoughts
The first thing that comes to attention is this, although this still means the trailer is comming 52 hours before the banner, it gives us the guarantee we'll see it at [Dec. 14th, 12:00 a.m.] (GMT-3). By then, our next seasonal units will be revealed, and there's a certain one I've been hoping to save for if it's true they'll be there. I won't say who they are though, while it's a possibility, it's still a potential spoiler.
But if they're here and the backup looks good enough, I'll pull for them and ignore the rest of the banners to allow for recovery.
The other Special Heroes banner comes the night of New Year, but that's a global tradition, so this is guaranteed to be here and live at the same time, we'll get news at the usual 52 hours of anticipation with the trailer.
The first batch will give us winter seasonals as per usual, while the second will give us seasonals of Heroes celebrating the New Year.
Oh, and with the first batch of seasonals, the last [Tempest Trials+] event in the {Ice & Flame} series will come to an end (event starts the same day as the banner), you can expect Ascended Laegjarn on it, as well as possibly, who's the winner between the champions of the two dragon gods: Fjorm (from Nifl) and Laegjarn (from Múspell). Of course, I'm looking forward to see how this side story will conclude.
Also, look at this:
We're getting the New Heroes announced kinda soon-ish, while that'd normally come out as quite the surprise, the Special Heroes are still coming out in the update for late-Dec/2021 in the Pacific, while the New Heroes are designated for the 6.1.0.
My best guess would be a The Binding Blade banner with no centered location thematic this time, but I'm personally hoping to see Ellen and Murdock! Otherwise, we might actually hear about our second TMS#FE banner.
This time, the Legendary Hero will be announced unusually early, expecting the trailer to be out at [Dec. 23th, 12:00 a.m.] (GMT-3). This is good though, the earlier the better for us.
This is the only skill banner of the month I feel would have at least some value to me, the rest don't feel as threatening to my savings, but who knows.
So far, in the regular pool we have: Laegjarn, Helbindi, Loki, Erinys, Marianne, Valentian Palla and Yuri. But 3 out of the last 4 will likely comprise the whole banner, because they have the Lv.4 skills, and Yuri is the most likely to be there.
...If Erinys and Valentian Palla somehow make it here, it's difficult to say I won't drop at least a few [Orbs] for these lovely pegasus knights, but we'll see depending on who's on it and anything revealed before, I'm still deciding as the banners are revealed.
The weekly at 12/26 (with Young Tiki, Linde and Deirdre) is also a possibility.
In the not too farfetched possiblity all the above is a skip, I might pull a little in either of those (out of all the revivals shown here), for Winter Altina+Sanaki or New Year Azura (both for collecting for now), but it's hard to say on which one I'll end up going for, the former feels more likely though because a Harmonized Hero with two likeable purple-haired girls is perfection... but actually speaking, I'd love to collect the Harmonized Hero because of personal attachment, and get some juicy fodder for my Sara or Valentine's Silque if possible, from Winter Sephiran... I'll have to settle with one copy if I somehow get him though, because I'd need two for all his fodder, but he's not so necessary to get anymore.
The rest of the banners aren't of my interest, so I'll move onto events:
Now, these two days until the reset of the 13th will be rather dull, today in less than an hour, the AFK rewards "game mode" will start for us, and the next of the weeklies tomorrow... yes, only these two things.
The weekly banner will have: Nailah, Keaton and Velouria... I'mma just free pull colorless I hope, otherwise blue>green>red.
Díthorba/Deet'var will finally rerun, after the long wait of... ~10 months since her debut, and we can get the free extra copy from there, I'll fodder her because, out of the Four Angelical Wings of Silesse, I only have attachment for Erinys and Annand, and [Flier Formation 3] could somehow see use... if I pick that, but I might actually promote her for a different combo.
Also, is it me or is this the first time I see two instances of [Limited Hero Battles] announced in one calendar? Huh... neat I guess, guess there's a first time for everything... but while I'm not particularly excited about these (mainly because of the slightly lacking rewards), I always look forward to test my favorites from each entry in the series, and end up being a fun challenge.
The next batch of Forma will also be revealed with the next datamine in four days, as [Hall of Forms] comes in a little over a week from here, I'll actually try to save my Forma until the Jugdral batch comes around to see if there's any seasonal I want to get as Forma or Sara somehow gets a Forma version so that I can finally give her a crazy kit... hopefully.
Other than that, [Frontline Phalanx] will also run in two days, not too exciting but the rewards are nice, and the rest of the month is pretty average. Celebrational quests for New Year (like in past years) will also be out around the start of 2022, these might be interesting and more useful this time around, here's what we got last... at that time, we got some pretty good rewards, including extra free summons on the New Year seasonals around the time.
But otherwise, the rest of the month is shaping up to be mostly average, with quite a bit to look forward to.

The calendar for the month is finally out, and we can plan ahead for who/what I want to pull on, as well as look out for other potentially interesting events.
I'll dump my own plans and thoughts as per usual below the cut, feel free to read on.
Banners
I didn't include links and mentions from the leaks' contents, in case you're avoiding those.
From the looks of it, the dates are still the same for my timezone, but I've read that'll change starting next calendar for some months, due to the Daylight Savings.
Anyway, as it turns out, Ryoma was indeed our next Resplendent Hero, he looks good, but I care very little about him, so I didn't make the usual thought post — but Ryoma being the next Resplendent upgrade candidate means that the leak for the whole month is turning out to be true, it's still soon to say it's trustworthy, but I'm assuming it is to motivate myself to keep saving, as there wouldn't be anything of interest coming for the remainder of November.
The only banner I'm worried about is [Heroes with Bonfire], there are 14 sources in the regular pool but only 3 will comprise the banner itself, and among them is Idoun (best girl 💜🙏🏻), if she's there (extremely unlikely doubtfully but who knows), I'll try to aim for at least one merge, otherwise I'm hard skipping this month; I even had to pass up on the other 3 tempting red stones from the monthly refines banner, Summer Tana doesn't need merges right away and I think pulling on her home banner would be best.
There's also yet another {Double Special Heroes} banner coming... what's with I.S. breaking patterns? That should come out every 2 months. 🤨
Anyway, last time we got a rerun for an assortment of seasonals released this year, from the Valentine's banner to the Young Heroes one, the next banner... well, here are my guesses, just what remains of some of the thematics that appeared in the previous one:

Hm... assuming I got it right, I'd pick colorless, but unlike last time, we'll need to wait two weeks for the banner reveal, maybe less if it's datamined and shared, but as I've expressed before, these banners are [Orb] scavengers, so I'll skip it in the end.
The New Heroes were also leaked, of which none are my interest (again, assuming the leaks are true).
So yeah, gonna save and see what's in store this month.
Events
Just the usual without much of interest.
[Heroes Journey] (three days) and [Pawns of Loki] (two days) will run once like past months, [Røkkr Sieges] is also coming back and starting today, it's a fun game mode with rather acceptable reward value, but I don't have much motivation to aim for the top in my world, I'll just waste whatever [Stamina] and score as well as I can like usual.
We'll get [Limited Hero Battles] soon, perhaps I'll feel inspired to record a video of my own solution of an abyssal map unless it covers Three Houses units, of which I have very little and stand no chance.
Palla and Catria also get their [Bound Hero Battle], since it's the first run, I'm guessing their banner will have Est as the last unit? Minerva would fit too, but not as well. Either way, it reminded me Palla — best Whitewing! — is +9 among my projects, I'm looking forward to finish merging her.
No free unit will get a rerun after Veld until maybe later next month, but we'll get a few new maps and free units, the next New Heroes are also coming early next month, we can expect the next [Feh Channel] by then, to announce the theme for [Book VI], among the usual celebratory stuff and whatever, I'm quite thrilled to find out what's in store.
So... overall?
I think it's an average month without much of interest (not even the themed banners hold much of interest barring the [Bonfire] one), if you've seen the leaks, chances are you won't be as thrilled for which Heroes you'll see later on, and I can see that, specially since now it's gaining credibility so I don't feel the same thrill but I like planning ahead when given the resources... maybe the fodder will be interesting at least? Who knows, but I plan to skip all along.

Mystery quests
[Fall Fluff Tour Quests] is the first thing that caught my eye, they might be similar to [Fluffy Fur Tour] ones which involve bringing gameplay-related themed teams (i.e.: full red team, full mixed, etc.), you can see the latter datamined here.
[Tap Battle] is coming bacc!1!11!
...but it's an {Encore!} This means that it's a rerun of a past one, details about [Heir of Light] can be found here.
Still, nice to see it back for some gameplay variety by playing a rhythm-based minigame. I wish there were more diverse minigames that were actually playable as often as desired.
"Banners, banners everyhere"
Not much I can find of interesting, but [Heroes with Exp. Skills] is finally going to be a thing and while it could be expected to happen, it still feels weird and yet, easy to tell it'll be an easy skip, since most of those skills are on full demotes.
But these are the real deal: [To Stay Dreaming] (banner with first generation FE4 characters, includes Duo Sigurd+Deirdre) and [A Splendid Soiree] (has Soiree Ishtar/Nephenee, the only [B Duel Infantry 3] source to efficiently fodder Marianne and an "elegant meme guy" a.k.a. source of [Joint Hone Atk]). Red hell is gonna be a pain this month but I'm going to dip in these for my favs, and maybe I'll get something else too.
The refines banner comes in 3 hours but it's skip, just the two above are of interest but I'm still looking forward to new characters this month.
Also, reminder that tomorrow at 4 p.m. (GMT-3) we're getting the next of the weeklies (mainly saying this because it's an "empty day" in the calendar so that you have something to look forward to if you need), it'll have Saber, Linde and Sonya. I'll be only free pulling blue in hope of a merge for Linde, mine's +3. 🤎
So, this month is looking...
...kind of packed and decently interesting, there's a bunch of revivals around and events but only one instance of [Pawns of Loki], which I think is actually entertaining and rewards nicely.
...there's still no calendar (yes, refreshed a bunch of times already and even checked their other news channels).
I'll rant a little more but I promise to make of this the last time I do a post about it, from now on, only reminding you if there's anything known to come in the same day the calendar is withheld for a day ― feel free to read on if you like but if you're looking forward to something tonight, it's just the weekly banner with Karel, Ephraim and Jaffar coming in less than 4 hours, if there's anything else, it'll come out as a surprise.
This is the second month in a row I.S. is doing this, pushing it to the next day and for no apparent reason, it's annoying they can't even remain consistent about the date they're going to put the monthly calendar (often most, it was the 10th but sometimes it's out a day earlier or after).
You know, when this happens, I'm reminded I wish there was an interactive calendar feature of sorts, where we could check it in-game at leisure and adeapted to our timezones and the like, it'd be coded in the client (the game) then I.S. would put up the events for next month in something like a JSON file that could be edited from the server and finally roll it out automatically every 10th at midnight (GMT-3) via a programmed task, we could also choose what to see in the interactive calendar and the like (banners, events, etc.) plus it'd be safe from inconsistencies (this includes the Daylight Savings that can mess with schedules).
Well, at any rate, we'll just have to wait the 23 hours, it's just frustrating that they randomly change the time the calendar rolls out when many of us look forward to plan where, when and what to pull for, as well as looking for any event of interest.
Anyway, as said before, we know we're getting one thing today: the next of the weekly banners... I'm not really looking forward to it since for now I'm not interested in making anyone here my projects and got other more important banners to save for anyway, guess I'll just free pull green if it's there then keep saving [Orbs].
The calendar is out and I’ll post it here for convenience, I’ll also share my thoughts and interest points for this month below if you’d like to read on.
[Pirate’s Pride] and [Festival in Hoshido] are my two interest points for this month and are rerunning almost together with each other, this is a “uh-oh!” for my [Orbs] because I would love to collect one copy of Brigid and Micaiah, but they’re both red units and this color is hell to pull on rather often, either way, my efforts will be focused on getting Brigid, then we’ll see if I pull for Micaiah (and maybe Elincia? But I doubt it).
The New Heroes are coming the 17th, but we know those are the [Choose your Legends] one, so I don’t need to wait, and we can pick one for free (in my case, most likely Marianne).
None of the banners appeal to my summoning needs but I’m quite curious as to what could be on the {lull} one, those skills are very good and go well with several builds, but are rather scarce as they’re “premium” options, as in, locked to exclusive units, but not behind a paywall unlike certain perks.
The [Reginn and More] (what a bad pick of a name) banner is the one that introduced Natasha, Selena the Fluorspar, Duessel and Knoll as the straight to low rarities demote.
[Heroes Journey] is also seen to be rather short in duration and only appearing in one instance this month... I’m looking forward to it to share proper thoughts on it.
{Double Special Heroes} is also making an appearance since it’s been 2 months after the last one and I believe it’ll have the Plegian and New Year seasonals from early this year as the last one of those banners. I’d absolutely love to get Dorothea+Lene but these banners are known to be best suit for people interested in pulling for various seasonals for longer sessions but I’d be interested only in the Harmonized Hero I talked about and Katarina, so I’ll just make free pull on red then bail out.
Overall, it’s a rather average month with not much to worry about asides the banners I have my sights on, and [Choose your Legends] being the point of interest for this month, we’ll have news this 14th!
