Claude is pain. Claude is suffering. So I got a Naga REALLY early on and two special Siegberts, but nothing else. This was a harsh lesson in orb saving, tbh. I didn’t whale, but I did buy orbs. I mined story orbs. I’m so mad at myself for this, I wasn’t even invested in this banner until I kept not getting things, and kept not getting things, and kept not getting things ad infinitum. 😫 The other two did not give me nearly this much trouble. All of my Dimitris are +ATK and two of them came on free summons and both my Academy and Legendary Edelgards are +ATK. Meanwhile Claude’s out here embarrassing me. I’m not bitter about this at all. My orbs are crying right now because I have none. The art is SO GOOD. That being said, though, I’m glad for the characters but wow, this is a lot of guys in seasonal alt hell. My guess was Kiria and Ashe to be honest. This makes more sense, but I’m not understanding Minerva and Myrrh? I mean, it’s cool, but I mostly want an Inigo so Lachesis can score higher and I can more consistently use her for PVP. That being said she’s +5 and on her way to +10, so is she even a viable choice for a dual skill? I need to look up a guide on duel 4 skills at this point because I’m already trying to build Dancing Eldigan and I’ve got the duel 4 for him. But yeah, I don’t really care about this banner in and of itself. I care about feeding multiple Inigos to Lachesis and maybe Felix if I can swing it. Yay, skill fodder! Im in a hyper saving mode in hopes of either a unit that I’m really excited about, like Felix or an alt or something cool, or more copies of NY!Takumi for the merges. I do like the idea of a cav dagger unit in the 3/4 star pool though. Hard pass from me on this banner, tbh. I’m less excited about these units and more excited for the characters. These guys before the Blue Lions Childhood Friends Trio? Before a non-alt Dorothea? These are strange times. That being said, I REALLY wish Flayn was the demote here. I’d love a flying healer to merge all the way up and she would have been perfect for it. She’s too powerful skill wise though so I get it. I’m interested to see what Linhardt gets now though, if it’s a slightly different Cadeuces Staff or if he’ll be offensive instead. Seteth, THANKFULLY, has not been hit with the male wyvern rider curse, but I’m not worried about grabbing him just yet. Catherine, meh, another speedy swordy lady, fine. I’m already building an Eirika. Shamir’s cool, but if I wanted a green bow lady I’m already swimming in Sue, and she has more movement. Yeah, I don’t see this engendering the same excitement in me that the performing banner did. Xane is aces, though. If by some miracle he’s the four star demote and not the other guy, I’m gonna go for it, but otherwise I can wait. Halloween Grima is making me feel feelings though, she’s DELIGHTFUL. As for Resonant Tiki, if it had been Ninian I’d be more excited. So uh...I’m gonna either be rolling green for B!Micaiah merges or SS3, or blue for Lucina merges. I’m not super impressed with Plumeria, especially since if I’m going to be going nutty over a dancer, it’ll be dancing Lachesis (who I have enough four stars to +7, eventually). Rolling red might not be so bad because I don’t have any of those but meh, it is what it is, I’d rather build up what I have. Plumeria’s cool and all, but if I’m building up any book 4 dancer, it’s Peony. Okay so...I’m super hype that this is a Jugdral banner, and that Eldigan is the TT unit (I have loved Eldigan since he pitybroke me at -ATK when I was but a baby player, so much so that I abandoned an Ares project), and I’m also pretty happy that I’m sure Lachesis is the demote this unit but...other than that I can wait and don’t really care? I mean, sure, Quan would be nice, but I’d be picking him up for Dimitri feels, not necessarily because I have ideas for him. Everybody else is LONG overdue, but can wait. The units I’m looking for are the ones that would be made at least a little more common, like Eldigan and Lachesis. I feel about this banner the way I felt about the picnic banner last year (still one of my favorite banners): I would have absolutely gone hard on this if the units I really wanted from it weren’t cheaper on the orbs or free. I’m definitely going to roll this though, because we are here to encourage FE4 seasonal alts, especially Sigurd and Deirdre getting their due. This is a Jugdral appreciation space.
