“Do you regret it?”

“Can I ask you something?”

Kristoff looked down at her, “Of course.”

“Do...do you regret it?” Anna said, looking down at her hands, “I mean, do you ever regret giving it all up...for this? For me?”

Kristoff watched her for a moment, then looked out from the balcony. 

Sure, things were now incredibly different than how they were before he met Anna. Things were simple back then: get up early, cut ice, head to town, sell the ice, find a place to stay or trudge back to the cabin, sleep and repeat. 

Now...now everyday was something new. Some days he would still be with the harvesters, managing them under his official title. Others, he would be stuck in his office, calculating and assessing distributions and sales, settling any disputes if they arose. Recently, he had found himself sitting with his wife in meetings with the council. Rarely he would speak but he was there under her request (he was still unsure if it was for her own comfort or so she got the chance to see him in royal attire...or perhaps both). A couple times it was a busy day preparing for an important dinner with arriving guests. He assisted, where he could, in preparing for the balls as well though more times than not, he’d wind-up staying in their room; taking their time in preparation for the night and enjoying the company of the other for as long as they could. 

His life had taken a drastic turn from his simple, easy life to this new, complex one. 

But back then he was lonely, back then he had no one. It was him and Sven, and though Sven good company...he wasn’t Anna. 

If you’d ask him before all this, before she threw herself into his life, if he’d ever want to give up his life to settle down, fall in love with the princess--Queen now--he’d call bullshit and refuse on the spot.

But now?

“No.” Kristoff said, with a smile, squeezing her hand, “I don’t regret it one bit.”

Favorite vacation destination ever: Hawaii & Ireland for sure

Most DESIRED: honestly, anywhere in Europe would be dope but been reaaaaally craving a trip to Australia for a long long time
