Hello yes this is your anon from before with the Cat!Elain first thoughts shenanigans I’ve just finished your first chapter & LOVED it!! Especially how you got that vibe of how it's difficult for Elain to match up her intentions (movements and talking specifically) with her new form. The sensation of whiskers and of her tiny heart when she's running really stood out<3
If you are still interested I've been daydreaming about it and my current thoughts are on Lucien being oblivious, and I don't know if you've already mapped that out, so feel free to ignore my brain cells clacking together:
Eventually someone (Rhys, Feyre, Tamlin, etc.) will probably ask if Lucien has noticed anything… odd, with his magical golden eye™ and I’d imagine he sees or senses magic around Little Lady, but he thinks Lady is magical in the way that Eris’ smoke hounds are, like it's just a natural thing for some Prythian animals except he thinks Little Lady’s magic pertains to sunbeams because whenever she falls asleep in a sunbeam the light seems to linger on her a little bit longer than it really should. (In this idea Lucien is unaware that it is actually his own underlying Day court powers causing this event to occur) (Or potentially there is no lingering light and he just thinks her napping in a sunbeam is magical) and what do you mean there’s no such thing as sunbeam cats, look at the way her eyes sparkle! Maybe she's a Day court cat. If Eris can have smoke hounds, I can have a sun cat and anyway what else could be causing all those magical threads around her all the time Tamlin stop laughing you're making her angry-

That first chapter I really needed to just lay down some plotty plot groundwork. I’ve got the entire “plot” very vaguely mapped out, perhaps around 8-10 chapters total. I originally was imagining shorter chapters but unfortunately I just finished chapter 2 and it’s much longer than I originally anticipated hahaha. But believe it or not I am incorporating some real plot lines in here (or trying to at least).
Lucien is going to be so oblivious it’s painful so I’m right there with you.
Ah, Little Lady’s magic. That does give me something to consider and think about! In Chapter 2 you’re going to see a bit more on Lucien being like what the fuck did that cat just understand me? And those shenanigans will only continue. 😉
