Take breaks. Burnouts destroy you.
Your hard work will pay off. Don't give up 💪🏻
You deserve better. No one should have to deal with nasty words and nasty people.
Literally can’t contain my happiness! Yesterday, my boyf asked if I wanted a promotion next year. I was really confused because I’m still in my final year of university and I don’t hold a job as of now. So I was pretty confused about the promotion he was talking about. Then he said, “Do you want to be promoted to be my fiancée next year?”
I pretended that I was so calm and that everything was good, but inside I was squealing like mad 🤣
It wasn’t an actual proposal but i’m overjoyed ❤️ never knew that this person would bring so much happiness to my life and made me blossom into a better person 😌
A big welcome to all freshmen in university!! It's a fresh new start for you, so make sure to utilize this opportunity to make changes. Whether it's academic related, personality or lifestyle related, embrace change. Because at the end of your journey, you'll look back and appreciate how far you have come. - Sincerely, Year 4 Senior
Some things are out of our control; don't blame yourself for the things fate throws at you. Rather, focus on the actions that you can take to turn things around.
Recently, I've learnt that timing is a crucial factor to opportunities that we're given. My mentor shared with me how crucial my application timing was. At that point in time, he was so overwhelmed that he would take on anyone who could help, even if it was a student. If I had applied two months later, he wouldn't have had needed anymore help because they had already recruited two other staff to do so. So don't hesitate. Go. Go for that interview, go for that internship, go for that job, go for that certificate. You'll never know how it might all turn out in the end.
