About the ban and this blog
note: some words have symbols mixed into them in order to try to not have this post flagged. I know I don’t have a ton of followers, at least compared to more famous blogs, but I want y’all to know that if this website actually goes through with banning n.s/f’w stuff on the 17th, I’m gonna leave. I will leave my blog up, so long as they don’t they don’t shut it down for some reason, just in case they decide to reverse the change, but to me what they’re doing is ethically and morally wrong. There are ways for them to have dealt with the p,o-r(n bots and n]a.z\i’s without banning the all n:s-f+w posts. s”e<x workers, fandom content creators, and others don’t deserve this. And they’re not only banning them either, L’G?B!T<Q content, c;h.r/o,n’i,c i’ll:n,e.s”s content, and other non-e[x/p’l.c,i’t content is being banned too, which is even more f.u,c’k”e.d up.
I’m going to try and find another website to use and I will let y’all know when I find something and what my username on that website is. But I cannot and will not support this website if they do this, even if this blog will be mostly unaffected.
If y’all know of any good websites that people are switching to or some sort of alternative that is being created, let me know. Hopefully it doesn’t come to this and Tumblr will realize that none of us are happy about this and not go through with it or change it back once they realized they f.u,c/k’e”d up but if they don’t I just wanted to give y’all a heads up.
If you can, I encourage you to do the same, if we stay despite this b>s then they won’t listen to us. This is the best way to show them that this isn’t okay. This is what little power we have over this. I hope you’ll join me.
