Frank Lloyd Wright
Frank Lloyd Wright was born in 1867 and throughout the 91 years of his life had designed over 1100 some very iconic buildings which are still famous as architectural masterpieces. His architectural style is both organic and American. He first worked under Louis Sullivan; the “the father of skyscrapers”. He also built Imperial Hotel in Tokyo which he claimed to be earthquake proof, and a year later when an earthquake hit Japan, the only large structure that survived was Imperial Hotel, proving his claim was correct. He is well known for mixing natural surroundings as a part of the aesthetics of buildings he designs.
