Listen To A New Song From Fellow Project, "Hatchets"

“Hatches”, the first song from their new record Basic Axemanship, is a rager that thinks like Engine Down, hits like Small Brown Bike, and feels like a spaghetti Western. The song is a three and a half minute assault that’s as uneasy as it is emotional, and when singer/guitarist Joe Jerkens lays down the line, “You hardly noticed going from good to fine / you just sat there and watched yourself go from fine to not fine” in Lou Reed-esque vocals, this track sets itself apart as one of the most unique punk songs released this year, and puts Fellow Project on the right track to releasing their best record as of yet. 

Basic Axemanship is due out in December via Dead Broke / Moneyfire.
