WHITE-ISH CAT WEDNESDAY!

Coco’s 8 months-old and sponsored by Karen Langland. SNAP Cats rescued Coco from San Francisco, CA. Coco is extremely sweet and outgoing. She’s then first kitty to greet you when entering our FeLV+ Habitat, and hounds you for pets and attention until you leave. Coco is great with other cats, and uses the litter box 100% of the time.

Since Coco is FeLV+ she’ll need to be an only cat or with other FeLV+ kitties.

This is Camila. She’s about 14 months-old and FeLV+. Camila (and her three newborn kittens) was found by Lorraine, who’s an independent rescuer in Buena Park and Orange County (CA). When Lorraine went to get Camila spayed Camila tested positive for feline leukemia. And, unfortunately, so did the three kittens. Lorraine found a temporary foster for all four while she looked for a rescue to take them. Lorraine emailed us…

And the rest is history.

Taking four FeLV+ cats at once is currently impossible for us. It’s one out, one in right now. And it’s been that way for a while. But according to the Elizabeth, the temporary foster, Camila isn’t bonded with her kittens anymore. And the kittens seem to be bonded with each other, so we’re taking Camila with hopes that we can reunite the family soon.

This is Mr. Bush. Yes, you read that correctly. They named a cat Mr. Bush. Why? Well… Linda found him living in bushes in the Franklin Pet Cemetery in Merced, CA during a storm. Make sense, now? Mr. Bush? Anyway, Mr. Bush was pretty sick. He spent a couple weeks in the hospital recuperating. It’s there that Mr. Bush tested FeLV+.

Linda says Mr. Bush is fun and playful, but lonely living alone. He needs other cats for company, so Linda emailed us…

And the rest is history.

TORTIE TUESDAY!

Nova is 4 years 2 months-old and sponsored by Stephanie Zaborowski. SNAP Cats rescued Nova from Escalon, CA. Nova’s a pretty chill kitty. She minds her own business, likes attention and pets, and just kinda hangs out in her own space. Nova does like her wet food, so if you want to get her attention, bring in a plate (or two!).

This is Little Baby (yes we will). She’s about 6 months old and FeLV+. Little Baby is coming in from San Jose today and will arrive at about 1:45 pm. You can watch Little Baby’s arrival on our FeLV+ Habitat webcam at https://www.youtube.com/@SnapcatsOrg/streams.

This is Shasta. He’s 3 months-old and FeLV+. Shasta was stuck in the wheel well of a car in Vallejo, CA. Hearing his cries, Corena managed to get him out and take him to VIP for an exam, vaccinations and combo test. That’s when Corena found out Shasta’s FeLV+. VIP recommended that Corena contact us…

And the rest is history.

It just so happens that we’ve been looking for a playmate for Biscuit, the 3 month-old FeLV+ kitten we recently rescued. So now Biscuit has a new “friend” in our FeLV+ Habitat.

This handsome boy doesn’t have a name yet. He was found as a stray kitten in Brian’s backyard. Brian took the kitten in, planning to socialize him and then try to find the kitten a home. When Brian took the kitten into his vet for an exam and vaccines, the kitten tested FELV+.  Brian contacted us…
