This is Kris. He’s about 2 years-old and FeLV+ / FIV+. Kris was dumped injured in a feral colony in Buena Park, CA. He has recovered from his injury and will be joining us today at about .

This is Luna. She’s about 10 months-old and FeLV+. Luna was a stray in Torrance, CA, found in horrible shape by Bess, who immediately took Luna to the vet for care. That’s when Luna was found to be FeLV+. Since then, Bess has been taking great care of Luna – fattening her up, giving Luna the medical care needed to keep her healthy, and the love to keep Luna happy.

This is Camila. She’s about 14 months-old and FeLV+. Camila (and her three newborn kittens) was found by Lorraine, who’s an independent rescuer in Buena Park and Orange County (CA). When Lorraine went to get Camila spayed Camila tested positive for feline leukemia. And, unfortunately, so did the three kittens. Lorraine found a temporary foster for all four while she looked for a rescue to take them. Lorraine emailed us…

And the rest is history.

Taking four FeLV+ cats at once is currently impossible for us. It’s one out, one in right now. And it’s been that way for a while. But according to the Elizabeth, the temporary foster, Camila isn’t bonded with her kittens anymore. And the kittens seem to be bonded with each other, so we’re taking Camila with hopes that we can reunite the family soon.

This is Mr. Bush. Yes, you read that correctly. They named a cat Mr. Bush. Why? Well… Linda found him living in bushes in the Franklin Pet Cemetery in Merced, CA during a storm. Make sense, now? Mr. Bush? Anyway, Mr. Bush was pretty sick. He spent a couple weeks in the hospital recuperating. It’s there that Mr. Bush tested FeLV+.

Linda says Mr. Bush is fun and playful, but lonely living alone. He needs other cats for company, so Linda emailed us…
