My Haikyuu Prompt for Fem Hinata:
(plot twist it's not just Hinata)
I have read fics where girl Hinata disguises herself as a boy to join the Karasuno boys volleyball team because they didn't let her play in the girls team or something. But.
What if she is not the only one. What if other teams also have female members hiding their gender to play with boys? What if Oikawa clocks her as soon as she sees her. Hinata asks how she knows and she goes, "Chibi-chan I have been doing this for 3 years now. You are not even subtle, your teammates are just idiots."
And Hinata suddenly had someone who understood. The only difference between them was most of Oikawa's team knows. She had sat the now third years down in their second year and revealed it to Maki and Matsukawa why their captain never participated in Dick measuring contests. Iwa always knew. They kept it a secret from the rest. Even the coach knew.
Then Oikawa goes, "Looks like a lot of volleyball player are getting into cross dressing". Which huh. It fucking turns out that there is another one of them. All Oikawa says is it's someone from Nekoma and they were a little harder to figure out.
Hinata meets Kenma. And she is sure. She likes Kenma too! No one else in Nekoma gives off those vibes, it has to be Kenma! She is so sure it's Kenma that she practically drops every hint in existence to let Kenma know.
Kenma is just confused because it is in fact, NOT HIM. So he is kind of feaked out when his new friend Shouyo whispers in his ears that he "knows his truth". What truth? Fuck did he meant? Has he figured out that Kenma has not taken a bath since two weeks? Is he gonna rat him out to Kuro?
After a very convenient phone call with Oikawa laughing for 2 hrs at Hinata's stupidity because, "you dragged him to girl's washroom? Really". and "it's not funnyyy! Kenma-kun will think I'm a creeeep!!"
Hinata meets Lev. Tall, half Russian, and calls Oikawa back and tells her to stop joking. She then lays on her bed contemplating life because, no. Oikawa-chan was not fucking. Life is a lie. God has favorites. Why the hell is Lev so tall.
Turns out Lev wanted to go against her model mom as an act of teenage rebellion and went into a very unladylike hobby (a little too unladylike. You didn't have to join the boys team Lev), she ended up falling in love with the sport. Hinata has no idea how she hides that much hair under her wig. It comes to her waist. Oikawa met the girl and deduced that the tall first year's wig has a small pocket dimension. Like Hinata, no one in Lev's team knows of her real gender. One look at the girl and probably no will have a reason to question it either.
The whole time Atsuma has been there. yeah.
Even Oikawa didn't knew about Atsuma though. Hinata accidentally had a bathroom encounter. It was during the training camp. She had changed in a casual uniform skirt quickly and wore a hat to hide herself. The setter was in normal jersey and clearly didn't recognized her. Hinata had already met Lev by then. They both asked Oikawa and took her advice.
Now Atsuma was part of the baddies group.
Anyways, they started hanging out once in a while to talk volleyball. Akashi joined herself in, somewhere along the way. No one even asked if Bokuto knew because, yeah. He obviously don't. He is stupid and lovable like that. Oikawa and Akashi knew each other actually. In fact they were friends. They met outside of their disguise during Akashi's first year and they both ended up sharing their secrets with each other.
The girls all met once or twice. To all there surprise, Shiratorizawa didn't had a female member hiding in their club. Shirabu did planted some doubts in all their heads, "first year player who is a genius and weird as hell. Are we sure he is not a girl!" (It's not like they are stereotyping on purpose. There just have been way too many coincidence).
Once Lev taught them how to catwalk. It was hilarious. Akashi and Oikawa nailed it. Hinata looked like a penguin doing it. Atsuma almost broke her ankle.
