I recently seen the genderbend Shadora art and btw they look fantastic! Honestly I get Fix it Flex and Sergeant Calhoun vibes from the Reck it Ralph Movie because it goes with the bad*ss girlfriend x golden retriever boyfriend dynamic you gave them, it’s so cute ☺️. Also lowkey I feel like Shade (Shadow) as well would definitely be a cuddle bug, but gets real shy about asking for cuddles because they either aren’t used to it, but get addicted once they start doing it or don’t want anyone else to them vulnerable other than they’re girlfriend/boyfriend.

I completely agree. I've always headcanoned that Shadow (and Shade) actually loves to be cuddled/held/touched, but they grapple with A: Not knowing how to ask for it and B: how that might affect their image. That's why I think Shadow/Shade would do really well with someone openly affectionate because they'll get all the snuggles they want without having to frequently come out and say "Please hold me" (though there's nothing wrong with asking that, of course! 😄 )

Lucky for them, Aurora/Rory LOVES cuddles and showing physical affection!
