It stands for Frequency Modulation, a common radio broadcasting method. There's FM radio, AM (Amplitude Modulation) radio, SW (shortwave) radio....
Those are all the modes you can see on her radio head! (And also on my radio irl)
The reason why i chose FM is because it is less susceptible to interference- which means the audio quality is better. How far the radiowaves travel is more limited compared to AM. Im so bad at paraphrasing but basically-
FM: Limited range, higher sound quality
AM: larger ranger, sound quality not as good
Jigsaw FM also rolls off the tongue better, and I think FM is the easier to recognize as something related to radio. It also looks better than "JigsawRadio", something I considered in the past.
She still specializes in *all* forms of radio and i mean it. No exceptions. Radiowaves, transmitters and recievers- they are all up her alley. She is radio.
