Welcome to our blog.
I want to say welcome to 2018 too, but let's face it - we are already three months in and half the world is already exhausted. Speaking on behalf of myself and Meli, we have not stopped. We have worked non-stop (apart from the break we got during Storm Emma), been to several ‘events’ and honestly have barely seen each other.
But this is just an introduction to our semi-busy lives.
We are Melissa and Nichola. Girlfriends. Carers. LGBTQ+ enthusiasts. So here is a little bit about us both. Let’s start with Melissa, she is the oldest after all.

Has been a carer for 8 years.
Has an unhealthy obsession with makeup, cats, unicorns and the Stig.
Shopaholic by nature.
Nighttime reading is the BNF.
Cries W A Y too much.
Nichola. (25)
Goes by Chola. (Name given not by choice but by happy accident.)
Could probably give you a play by play of each episode of Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and Teen Wolf.
Worked at the 2012 London Olympics as a security guard (despite being the least intimidating person you will ever meet).
Has become the go-to tech girl of her family, work and friends.
Has jumped from journalism to security guard to writer to carer.
Current celebrity crushes include Emily Bett Rickards, Caity Lotz and Stephen Amell.
