Oh let me note this if anyone is wondering: I don't identify as a radical feminist. I am a feminist and seemingly leaning towards radical feminism (Or moreso 'real feminism') but I don't actively consider myself a radfem. As I am not familiar enough with actual radical feminism and theory for me to confidently say I am one.
I don’t normally post my philosophy listens, but I’ll make an exception for this one.
What is human nature? What do you think your role is as a girl or guy? Do you think things are just the way they are?
Podcast Stephen West gives a great discussion about how gender roles were created.

Feminism
Ok mini rant here... I got to a supposedly very liberal school but the amount of ignorant people that live on this campus that say feminism is stupid or that they don't need feminism CLEARLY NEED A HISTORY LESSON. Like, seriously? Everyone is so misguided about what feminism is and I try to set them straight in a polite way, but the fact that this university is supposed to be about keeping an open mind and bad valuing other people's opinions....THEY WONT EVEN LISTEN TO ME. Granted I know that I don't know everything, but I was one of the people who wasn't a feminist UNTIL I learned what a true feminist is. And now I stand behind that 100%. The fact of the matter is that people aren't even willing to look up and see if I'm right, or form their own opinion. They just blindly follow the bull that the media feeds them. I'm so exhausted. I hate being literate of society and being able to form my own opinion sometimes - ignorance is bliss, ne?
Please help! I want to do this the right way!
Alright so I made a huge assignment about feminism and now I have to present it.
I wanted to chose black feminism as a specific topic because I felt like it got way to little attention in my assignment and feel like it has to be spoken about.
The thing is, I am not black, and I live in an area in Holland where in my high school as little as 9 black people study so I'm lacking knowledge.
If anyone wants to make a rant, introduce ideas, sent something they thought I need to show (a blog, video, photos, stories etc) I would greatly appreciate it!
Another thing! Since over the past few years feminism has spread immensely and started supporting a great many of groups undergoing racism, discrimination and/or violence of any sort I wouldn't mind at all if you would like to add something among those lines. (trans/gay/sexualities etc)
I want to do this right
(I'm sorry for tagging this much)
