Hey there people, just wondering, has anyone planned an International Day of Femslash this year? if so, on Saturday 14th, or 21th, or another date altogether? I've searched and searched but my google-fu is failing me at the moment.

The International Day of Femslash is July 19! That's Saturday!!

I am back in classes and just starting a new school year (we go year-round ... yay ... not), so I have fallen behind and almost missed posting about this. Which would be a shame since the SWG has been a participating group in this event since the International Day of Femslash started.

We always welcome femslash on our archive and various satellites, but we especially encourage our writers to post femslash on July 19. (Art is welcome over at our LiveJournal and Dreamwidth communities.) Never tried writing femslash but always wanted to give it a go? Why not make this your excuse? Simply post to our archive (or one of our satellites) on July 19 and make sure to add your story to the International Day of Femslash challenge.
