There is no penalty for defaulting before the deadline.

If you do not default and do not post a work by the deadline or post a work that remains incomplete after the deadline, you may not participate in next year's Kink Exchange.

Defaulters are not guaranteed a gift.

Moderated Collection

Until your work is approved, you won't be able to access it from the "Works in Collections" page to make edits to it. If you think you will need to make frequent edits, keep the fic open in a browser tab.

As of 5/31 the moderation queue is cleared, if your work is unapproved and you expected it to be, check to make sure it isn't in "draft".
