❝ they’re coming for you. ❞
Alex raised an eyebrow. He didn’t recognise this girl, but he wasn’t going to dismiss her because of that. The only question was who she was talking about, because really there were a surprising number of groups that could mean at this point.
“‘They’ are coming for me. Nice and cryptic. I don’t suppose you could be a little more specific?” He folded his arms, fixing her with an unimpressed stare. “/Who/ are coming?”
// @ericbrandonrp @fenagain/ @smclbutmighty I’m not sure if any of you are into Harry Potter. I just came across these posts on my dash, and honestly all I can think of was the friendships between (Richard and Eric) and (Richard and Fen) xD //
@fenagain Michael hated being this out of control. Though he was used to having to adjust to situations, he definitely wasn't used to improvising, and this plan required really quite a /lot/ of it. He let out a sigh, quickening his pace down the street and pulling his cap down further over his face. Yet another set of newspapers had their faces on the front page, he noted as he passed a store, wincing at the sight of the reward being offered. Basically, they were screwed. He was already behind in his plan, he couldn't afford any more setbacks, but more kept coming up. He stopped for a minute at the corner, examining his surroundings appraisingly. He needed to get supplies, but the only store he could see around was the one with the newspapers in front, and going in there just seemed a bit /too/ risky.

Schroeder’s hands were full, and he did his best not to drop anything as he brought the stack of art supplies over to the kitchen table. When his search for school Valentines based on classical composers had been fruitless, he resolved to make his own, and got his mom to get him a pack of unlined index cards. He dropped them onto the table along with the markers, crayons, stickers, construction paper, scissors and glue stick, and set his class list beside the pile. “Happy Valentine’s Day, Fen!”

He tentatively strokes the neck of his bottle, scrutinising their new arrangement. It was the kind of compromise that saw a young mutant kept off the streets, at the expense of his own privacy being sacrificed. Suppressing the urge to grumble darkly, Logan rubbed his beer bottle a bit harder before he raised it to his mouth and siped from it, swallowing a quarter of its frothy contents to avoid parting with small talk.
His apartment was spartan at best; a mattress sat in the corner furthest from the door, whilst two doors stood perpendicular to the entrance; one led to a small kitchenette whilst the other gave way to a bathroom. Back pressed against the wall’s wooden veneer, in the dim luminance provided by a small lamp plugged in next to his feet, Logan could be seen wearing a plain grey tank top and jeans, covered all over in enough hair to make him the perfect argument for male body waxing.
Resting burly arms on bent knees, he finally decided to speak up.
“Awful weather we’ve been havin’ lately, huh? I’m surprised that there ain’t more floods.”

When the kid got home, she’d find the door unlocked -- which wouldn’t normally happen, not when she lived with someone entirely obsessed with organization. Well, that wasn’t her priority. She was a little too busy trying to stop the bleeding from the bullet wound on her side and finding her phone at the same time -- bastard had ripped the land-line from the wall.
Fen
“No, I guess no one says that anymore.” She had a feeling Fen wouldn’t let her forget that embarrassing moment anytime soon. But they had another issue at the moment. “I don’t think that’s a good idea, kid. What if you end up cutting the power to someone’s ventilator in a hospital or something?”
