For World Fencing Day September 12, 2020 Pearl Low writes: “Both of our daughters started fencing eight years ago at Fencing Institute of Texas. Since then, there wasn’t a single day where we were not thankful for how much this sport has changed our daughters' perspectives of life!!! Yes, you heard me! Sounds really epic, doesn't it?! But it is true, FENCING has not only improved the level of focus, commitment and dedication in all aspects of our daughters' lives, but fencing has also taught our daughters how not to give up so easily when they face any obstacle in life. Most importantly, they have learned to NEVER do anything half way or else you will never reach your goal, big or small. FIT is a safe place for our daughters to thrive at their potentials, to set their goals, to challenge themselves, and with patience, dedication and a lot of hard work, it has really brought up the very best in them. Not to mention, FIT coaches are very committed to fencers of all ages, and the fencers themselves very much value the friendship and bonding they have established over the years at FIT! FIT is almost like a second home to them!!! Because of this strong sense of unity, the older fencers are always there to help the new members at FIT. We are just very grateful we found this place through our daughter's friend Helen!! We will miss the founder of this place Mr. Ovy and Mrs. Brenda, and our awesome and dedicated coach Volodymyr very much once our second daughter goes to college.” #fitfencer #fitfencers #worldfencingday2020 #fencingday #FencingAPassionAFamily #FITFamilyFencers (at Fencing Institute of Texas, Inc.) https://www.instagram.com/p/CE3Gr_NJtJU/?igshid=1j4ddcdpfgv8v
