I will never look at my #Marshall 20 watt the same way again! . After my last post (about the 1959 "TGS" burst, the second burst I ever saw in my whole life) a friend of mine sent me these pics he took of that guitar (plus a lovely very early 60s #Stratocaster) IN FRONT OF MY MARSHALL model 2022 amp at @theguitarshopca!!! This was probably taken in late 2016 or early 2017 just before I bought the amp from this shop. OK...I'll never afford a 1959 #LesPaul. But my amp has had a(t least one..) 1959 Les Paul leaned up against it! Laugh if you want...but it's the closest I'll ever get to burst ownership! 😂😂😂 . PS: I wanted to buy that incredible tweed #Fender #Tremolux too but could only afford one or the other...and I picked the Marshall. The #Tremolux is the has a big warm tone that makes even the thinnest-sounding #guitars (I'm looking in your direction #Stratocaster!) sound fat.
