Topher could still remember the chaos of the year before, when the police had been all over this place, and how the side of the river had been sealed off for weeks until well into the summer. Mostly because the Swimming Pool had been filled to the brim with kids who couldn't take a dip in the river.

Now the place was far more modern than it had been before. It looked like one of those beaches from the television: like California.

They were in a bathing suit: the longest pants they could find - which fell to their knees - with an orange and blue flower pattern, and an oversized UV shirt.

And they were shivering. "The water is SO COLD," they told any bystander who needed to be persuaded from not going in.

Hasan was not a drinker, he'd never been one to think about taking sipping some alcohol to settle his nerves. He'd only ever been a social drinker, and it was rare for him to be social, it was even rarer to be social and drunk, since he tended to nurse a whole glass of whiskey or cognac during a single evening - which had resulted in being dubbed an 'old man' even at the age of twenty-one.

He'd instead gotten some strange mixed drink that was ten percent alcohol, ninety percent slushy. Or at least that's what it tasted like. He was drinking it from a closed plastic cup out of a straw, feeling like instead of an old man, he was now a teenager. "I am not sure I like what they've done with the place," he said to his companion. "It's certainly a step up from what it used to be, but there is a lot of concrete now. I've seen three kids scraping their knees on the street already."

Bodhi was surprised to find that the Full Moon had gone without any trouble, nothing had happened, nobody had been hurt - aside of course from the usual injuries on people that were usually only Werewolves of Witches - and no new people had gone missing either. As a direct result, Bodhi's spirits were lifted too. Seeing the renewed beach front - with a lot more concrete, which sad - and the British way of celebration, made him feel a pang of nostalgia for Brighton. Though Fenrir's Wood wasn't at the sea, and it didn't seem to have the funds to create Brighton's beach front.

Thus, from looking at the graffiti that was on the new walls - definitely clad down the evening before - the citizens also agreed: Lake Side it said in different fronts.

The PI raised an eyebrow. "I wonder if this was made on commission or if the youth saw a brand new clean canvas and decided it needed to be filled asap."

CLOSED STARTER for @pclymcrphcus ft. Colson location ; hospital, day after the flower moon

Full Moons were the busiest time of the month for Bijan, from studying how the Lycanthrope virus reacted to the full moon in the evening and throughout the night, to showing up in the hospital early in case there were cases of wolf attacks. Any new bite could suggest a coming illness, and while he had yet to figure out a cure, the illness itself was important too. Not every patient however wished to be studied by a scientist, and he needed both verbal and written verification, and if the patient was too sick, that meant from their guardians. 

He entered the hospital early in the morning, when the sun was up but most people weren’t. Five am. He’d had a quick breakfast, a mug of Turkish coffee, and read yesterday’s paper. The place was just as busy and yet quiet as it normally was, the ER filled, but the rest of the hospital working as a place as such should, with full waiting rooms, and coffee addicted doctors and nurses. 

When he’d woken up that morning, he hadn’t expected to find his own partner at his place of work. Not to give him a kiss and a coffee, no, but as a patient. He entered the ER and almost dropped the tablet, staring back at Colson. He quickly moved towards him. “Colson?” His eyes were wide as he put the tablet down and ran his hands carefully over the other. “Are you alright?”

CLOSED STARTER for @evanoraray location ; Opposite the Beach Front

After their last conversation at the bar, Fabio didn’t think they had a good shot of explaining to Evanora how much of a hero she was to the people - meaning their 200 followers on Twitch and the 150 that had listened to their podcast. Meaning that running into her now was not something Fabio thought they were capable of doing, clearly they’d hit a sore note, and they didn’t know how exactly they could make sure that a second conversation between the two of them would go any better. 

But of course, the situation that would lead to said second conversation wasn’t in Fabio’s advantage. 

They reached the end of their nightly Ghost Tour, since the waterfront ( or lake side or beach front or whatever the locals wanted to call it ) had been reopened they’d made sure to end it right at the entrance, that way everyone on the tour could go out and have fun at the place. 

They finished their story on the great fire that happened centuries ago and the possible ghosts roaming the spot, and perfectly dodged the question about the murders last year. Then they dipped, walking away from the entrance back to town, almost colliding with a familiar figure. 

“Oh hey, Evanora Ray… fancy seeing you here,” they said, slightly awkwardly.

CLOSED STARTER for @pclymcrphcus ft. Amir location ; Bar Crawl

Topher wasn’t much of a drinker, whenever they went out they maybe had one beer, but only so it didn’t appear weird that they were mostly drinking water. Topher just really liked water. They had a beer in hand, walking along the bar crawl up to the board that warned people that no alcohol was allowed beyond this point. They smirked up at the rule, couldn’t help walking beyond the point far enough while keeping the bear in their hand just in front of the board, then pretending they were bungeed back. 

As they turned they almost collided with a tall person, they smiled. “Oh hi, sorry, it’s the beer.”

Nishant was a huge fan of anything to do with water. Especially when it came to him being able to take a swim, even if he felt incredibly looked at when he was in his speedo - even if he hadn’t swam in a championship in almost a decade. He was dripping, the water was incredibly cold, but he now felt more alive. He grabbed a towel and a sweater, quickly covering himself up against the low twenty degrees. Then he walked over the artificial sandy beach back towards the concrete benches. He looked up to find Mei also on the beach, and smiled. “Hey Mei! Fancy seeing you outside of our usual places, are you here for the bar crawl?”

Sporting a classic dhoti and a vibrant light blue v-neck shirt, Ezhil wasn't hard to spot in the crowds. His vibrant blue hair caught enough attention, and if not that, then his twirling moustache. He valued the artists of this day and age who understood that in order to be important: you had to be memorable. You almost had to be a piece of art yourself.

He was standing in front of an almost blank canvas, it merely had a blue line. There was another canvas leaning against the stone railing, drying in the sun. This one was such a mess of colours that it was hard to say what exactly it was supposed to represent.

He wasn't painting, instead his attention was on the street, and when he saw a familiar face walk past, he was quickly to tap her on her shoulder and gesture for her to join him at the canvas. "Hello future painter, probably a good time to start now?"
