joshua is incapable of telling those he cares about just how close he truly is throughout most of the game. it's not that he's afraid of dying - but more he's afraid of everyone's reaction.
carpals
he trains daily with his sword for at least two hours. it used be longer but he no longer has the stamina. joshua reads at least a book a week and can be found in the tomes more often than not. he is horrible to share a bed with -- he tosses and turns and kicks.
