It’s such a relief to read this - I’ve always been made to feel guilty for disliking that book.

I don't understand why so many people like it, and to be honest I'm not a fan of Salinger's other writing either; I had to read Nine Stories for school a few years ago, and there wasn't one story that appealed to me.
