Snow had been hiding out all day, as her new life required. It was torture, knowing that she could no longer do the things she wanted to do, like teach... though that might be a good thing, considering all the necks she would have been near. And she couldn’t go home... the very idea of putting her family in harm’s way terrified her to no end. She’d probably drive a stake through her own heart if she did hurt her family, and that thought itself also terrified her.
She peaked out of the window once she started noticing the windows of the shop down below becoming brighter and brighter, and she checked the sky. It was dark... well, dark enough. She had tested how dark it needed to be before she could go out prior to today. She could go out now.
So she sped through her place in the library clock tower and headed outside, making sure she wasn’t noticed. Nice little work of using her vampire speed made that easy. And she made her way to the hospital. Blood, she needed blood. It had been almost two days since she had anything, and she felt as if she would fall apart if she didn’t get some soon.
She was quick about it, rushing into the blood supply, stealing a good stash and stuffing it into a bag, and running back to her hideout before anyone could see her. She put the blood into the cooler she had in there and opened one up, drinking it slowly. The plus side in all this was that she hadn’t attacked anyone since she transitioned... yet.
