“To be fair, I JUST arrived on Earth and you’ve probably been here for waaaay longer! Between the two of us, you should be the one driving!” Charlie retorted, obviously frustrated if not a tad panicked.
Being summoned to the world above was bizarre enough, considering she wasn’t exactly an EASY demon to call upon, but to be confronted by another had the princess completely puzzled. Her summoner was missing and, as splendid as that was, she had terrible luck to come face to face with a seven foot behemoth! Perhaps he could tell she wasn’t a creature of Earth and wanted to help (or hurt). No matter, company was welcome.
They haven’t even exchanged names yet but she could tell he wasn’t familiar with her kingdom of Hell. Demons were frightening, sometimes they resembled humans, but his appearance was a far cry from what she was accustomed to.
Shaved horns and a large arm made of stone…?
This guy was different. A demon, yes, but probably not from her kingdom.
Crimson irises tore away from him to focus on the road ahead, banishing curiosities. Questions could come later - FOR NOW the princess had one simple goal. “I just need to get as far away from my summoner as possible! Who knows what type of plans they had for me…” Charlie began to mutter bitterly, still wondering how anybody obtained the ability to forcefully bring her to Earth. Slim fingers tightened their grip on the wheel as she tried her best not to oversteer at another turn.
Her anxiety was already so high and mind so distracted, she failed to feel her own pointed horns poking through light gold locks. Moments pass and a pitiful sigh escaped her lips at a sudden realization. “I don’t even know where I’m going…”
The moment he saw her materialise in the middle of their ritual circle, Hellboy knew she isn’t something he ought to punch the lights out. But something he has to save. She seems beyond any other typical demons he dealt with — blonde hair, unusual getup. Not at all doom’s day material but ... Those people were trying to harvest some sort of power.
Before Hellboy could figure out what they were truly up to, he jumped out of his hiding place and scooped up the unconscious demon. He made a run for it into the B.P.R.D.’s provided vehicle. Punching his way out of it of course. And now with the driver taken out in the run, there’s just no other choice.
Hearing the gunshots from behind, Hellboy groans internally. They’re vulnerable in the open road, and the B.P.R.D. are still on their way for back-up. He’s just gonna have to settle this his way. The red half-demon cracks the top of the car and tears it open easily with his right hand of doom. He pops into view of the enemy cars. He pulls out a bomb and throws it at the nearest car. It manages to swerve away from it — but the cars at the backline aren’t that quick.
❛ Can’t be doing two things at once, kid ! Keep your head down and your foot on the pedal ! ❜ Hellboy shouts over the explosion. He does have somewhat experience in driving but he prefers walking over it. After all, he could only drive with his left hand and not with his oversized one.
Without wasting time, he reloads his Good Samaritan, an oversized metal revolver with his left hand. No matter what this kid is in for and what power she holds, it’s a mutual feeling that they have to get away as far away from the summoner as possible. ❛ C’mon, help me lose them ! Do what you can and don’t worry about me ! ❜ He blocks the bullets with his indestructible rock hand and proceeds to fire back with his other.
