Hello! I was wondering if you knew of any low-angst Bureaucracy fics? I’ve been wanting to try out that ship for a bit, but I don’t know where to find any fics of them/fics that aren’t super angsty. Preferably human AUs also, if you can, just cuz it’s simpler for my mind. Thank you for this wonderful blog and all the amazing fics I’ve discovered here!

It had become a bit of a tradition in the past few weeks. Gabriel would come in and they would argue. Then he'd order the same thing (a double cheese burger with a large chips and coke) and complain about how disgusting it was, even when he ate all of it.

Honestly Beez didn't understand it.

"I think he's scouting us out," Dagon narrowed their eyes suspiciously after he'd left.

"That's ridiculous," Beez snorted at their floor manager. "We don't even directly compete. That's no reason to eat food you hate."

"I don't know then," Dagon shrugged. "But I'm pretty sure Ligur spat in his food this time."

VI. PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Gray tabby tom with strong build, though he's kinda fluffy(medium length fur). Some whitish tufts on legs and underbelly. Grey green eyes.

VII. PERSONALITY

He's a very kind and likable cat- so basically, charismatic. Laid back and humble, most others get along well with him. Overall, he's just a pretty chill cat. He does have his drawbacks though, like not being very excitable or fun. His jokes are usually ones only he gets. His often carefree attitude causes him to make friends with cats in the other clan, which doesn't seem like a big deal but he sometimes wanders over the border...which may or may not be a mistake. He also does go hunting out on his own sometimes, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it can be when he's needed.

VIII. BACKGROUND

As a kit, Fernstone was always the one to follow along, letting Growlingecho or Lemmingfoot take the lead. He and his other sibling Waveboulder have always been close, sitting in the nest together when Growlingecho and Lemmingfoot were out play fighting. As an apprentice, he learned that he was actually a pretty good fighter, even though Growlingecho and Lemmingfoot had practiced for longer- he just had a natural skill and good build for it. He wasn't good at hunting though, because he tried hard to attack the prey as if it was an enemy. Thankfully, as he became a warrior and went out more to practice hunting, he improved, and now does decently.

IX. FAMILY & OTHER RELATIONS

(I didn't include it in Breezepaw's application because I hadn't thought of it then, but Fernstone is now Breezepaws Uncle/Aunt. Sorry for suddenly deciding this- I just thought it would be a nice idea, and it helped me build on Growlingecho's personality. This also makes Frostseed his mom- who is Breezepaw's grandmother)

X. ROLEPLAY SAMPLE

(I'm going to use the one from Breezepaw's application, if that's okay, because I plan on roleplaying in the same format as I will with her. But no, this isn't her application form)

Breezepaw flicked her tail, signaling to Lightningpaw that she’d spotted a seagull up ahead. Lightningpaw sprinted forward, eager to make the catch before his sister, but he wasn’t paying attention to the loud pound of his feet, which startled away the bird.

"You birdbrain! That would’ve been an easy catch if you hadn’t been stomping around so loud!"

Lightningpaw glared back, disbelievingly. “It probably heard you twitching about in the grass. I would’ve caught it if it hadn’t been for you.”

His retort angered her, but knowing that arguing won’t catch them any prey, Breezepaw turns around, and heads further into The Pines. “Come on! I think there’s more over here.”

After a while of seeing no birds, Breezepaw turns to ask Lightningpaw if they should go back to camp. Confusion and worry sets in as she realizes he’s not there.

"L-Lightningpaw?" she calls into the dark needle forest. When she gets no reply, she scampers to the nearest tree to see if he’s nearby.

Once up, she notices that a group of bushes on the ground a few tail lengths away rustling. Darting down the tree, she lunges for them. “Lightningpaw! That’s not funny-” she stops when realizing that her brother doesn’t have feathers, or a beak, or tiny beady eyes. This isn’t Lightningpaw…! She unsheathes her claws, trying to hold it down.

As her teeth sink into it’s neck, an excited squeal comes from behind her. “You caught one!” The familiarity of the voice makes her drop her prey and turn.

"Lightningpaw- where were you?" she asks, sharply.

"I went to go get Graypelt and Starkeye. I thought they might be able to help,"

The two mentors emerged from the shadow. “Nice job,” Starkeye purred, proud of their apprentice. “And all on your own. But last time I checked, that seagull wasn’t named Lightningpaw!”

Her ears drooped, embarrassed. “I- I know…”

Graypelt purred with amusement. “Well, Breezepaw, why don’t you pick it up and we’ll take it back to camp. I’m sure Softclaw and Growlingecho will be proud.”
