Hector smirked, loving when Eliwood acted playful and teased him a little. Especially since it was a side of the other that only really came out when it was just the two of them. He took a few steps forward, closing the small gap that was between them before settling his hands on his hips. His cocksure smile still dancing on his lips as he thought of all of the different ways that he could reply to him.

“Oho, you know that you can, Eli~ I just hope that it’s sweet enough for you.” He replied back, a low chuckle making it’s way past his lips.

Smiling, Eliwood immediately melted into the kiss Hector greeted him with, blushing faintly at the way he settled his hands on his hips. He had always been attracted to Hector’s confidence. It very clear to anyone gazing upon them that Eliwood belonged to him, but Hector trusted him and gave him the autonomy he needed.

“I must warn you, it may be quite a challenge to satisfy me. My sweet tooth is nearly insatiable. If appetite weren’t a variable, I could most certainly consume treats boundlessly.” He replied, running a hand through Hector’s hair.

Spooky Emblem: Let the Trick-or-Treating begin!

"Trick-or-Treat! Oh, pardon me. Only if you desire to participate in the festivities, of course!" Eliwood said sheepishly.

Luthier opens the door, a bowl of candy in his arms. His eyebrows shoot almost into his hairline. He wasn’t expecting anyone other than small children. “Oh, Eliwood. Merry Halloween.“

Almost on cue, a black cat brushes against Eliwood’s leg, crooning softly. She looks up at the other man with yellow, lamp-like eyes and almost gives him a lopsided grin. She saunters back to her owner, sits right next to him, and tilts her head with that same almost-lopsided grin.

Tucked in the Shadows | Leanne & Henry

As she traversed through the brush of the woods, crouching to avoid low-hanging branches and stopping abruptly to navigate around large spiderwebs, Leanne began to silently reconsider if her decision to join Henry on this small scale expedition had been a wise one. They were trespassers, invaders to the grove that had been left undisturbed for years. At least, that is the foreboding message the trees whispered to her through the rustling of their leaves and creaking of their branches. Had it not been for Henry’s cheerful humming, the silence would have been suffocating. Glancing about, she noticed not even a single woodland creature was visible--not even a bird, safe for the crows that always seemed to accompany the strange man where ever he went.

Despite her own hesitations, she pressed onward, tucking a small lock of hair that had escaped her braid behind her ear. Henry was an incredibly unusual boy, sometimes even downright frightening, but she did not feel he would harm her. For every time he was present, she could sense a terrible loneliness within him, one that compelled her to speak to him. That is, after all, how she ended up following him to a clearly questionable destination. She raised her head.

“Um...Henry? Are...we closeness? No. Are...we close now?” She asked, looking to the branches of the trees above them, “the trees...they not like...place.”

Spooky Emblem: Thread Prompts!

Below are a collection of starters to get event-themed threads started. Immerse your muse in the Halloween season, from exploring haunted houses to eating way too much candy!

💀 - Against your muse’s better judgement, your muse accompanies my muse to explore a creepy abandoned shed in the middle of the woods. 

👻 - My muse has been cursed! Until the clock strives 6:00am, my muse is a ghost, roaming the streets unseen or heard. Will your muse be frightened or elated by the presence of a mysterious ghost?

‎🧟 - The zombie apocalypse has finally come. Corpses are rising from the ground, hungry for the living! Your muse manages to barricade themselves in a barn, but the shelter can’t hold out much longer.

🕸 - After hitting up all of the Halloween parties for the night, our muses decide to take a shortcut home. However, in the dark of the night, our muses end up caught in an abnormally large web. 

🍬 - Our muses make some spooky-themed treats together. Spider cookies, cupcakes with fingers, ghost suckers...the possibilities are endless!

🌕 - With a large, beautiful full moon above them, our muses become entranced by its radiance, almost as if they were under a spell. The light becomes blinding and when it finally dies down, the two are now in the world of the dead, surrounded by the spirits and ghosts of those who were once among the living! 

🎃 - Your muse enters a pumpkin carving contest with my muse! Will they take a fun and casual approach to the competition? Or will they try to best one another?

🏠- Our muses go to a haunted house together! Will the frights and creepy sights send them running? Or will they fail to impress? It’s an ordinary haunted house...right?

🥤- Our muses decide to play a drinking game to make passing out candy all the more entertaining. How long until they are too drunk to pass out candy?

😨 - My muse is absolutely convinced they saw a spector standing outside their window, tapping on the glass with a twisted smile. Terrified, my muse turns to your muse for help!

👯 - Your muse works for a haunted house, putting together the creepiest displays, performing as an actor, and otherwise making it a frightful experience! When my muse is challenging to scare, your muse pulls out all the stops!

The Spooky Emblem Event!

In the darkness lit only by a full moon shining in the starless night sky, the echoing of footsteps are heard scampering in the shadows. Monsters, witches, and all that screams sinister have infiltrated the streets, some carrying plastic pumpkins for the collection of treats. Others...merely attempt to conceal themselves within the crowd, undetected. The world of Fire Emblem has transformed, and Spooky Emblem is upon us.

In this event, our beloved muses are invited to participate and enjoy the thrills, scares, and treats that come along with the Halloween season. Trick-or-treat, explore haunted houses, navigate mazes, attend a costume party, and more! After all, Halloween is merely a silly event made of make-believe monsters and fun...or is it?

The event period is from October 17th to October 31st and will be comprised of three main elements!

1. Inbox Trick-or-Treating

Halloween wouldn’t be the same without the annual tradition of trick-or-treating! Be prepared for your friends, family, enemies, or even a stranger to drop in with a “Trick-or-Treat!”

2. Spooky Thread Prompts

For those interested in event themed threads, we will provide a list of thread prompts that you can send out to get some spooky threads going!

3. Discord IC Chatroom - Costume Party!

Ghouls, witches, dragons, goblins and more come together for delicious creepy treats at the Spooky Emblem Costume Party! Have your muse join the fun in a costume of their choosing, enjoying refreshments with friends and strangers alike.

The Costume Party will be held in the IC_Chatroom in our OOC Discord. It will operate in dialogue, similar to the Modern Age event, allowing for our members to interact with each other’s muses. If you have more than one muse, please write the name of your intended character first, followed by your message. Example: Eliwood: What a lovely costume you have!

The event is by no means mandatory. You’re more than welcome to not participate, but we ask if you do, to please meme supportively! If you plan to receive memes, you should be sending them out as well.

Reyson chuckles- he’s in a more somber mood tonight, but it’s impossible for her innocent attempt not to lighten his heart a little. “You had it the second time, very good.” He nearly asks if she’s a bit too old to be wearing costume bits and pestering him for sweets, but she was asleep for so long- he supposes it isn’t her fault that she isn’t quite done being a child.

He smiles. “Tibarn brought me some almond cookies today, those should be a treat.” The smile goes a bit wry. “As long as he didn’t make them himself.”

Leanne blinked, processing Reyson’s words, before she immediately broke out into a fit of giggles, raising a hand to her face in a failed attempt to suppress her volume. It was well known between them that Tibarn lacked any cooking or baking talent at all, particularly in preparing food suitable for the delicate diets of the heron clan. Still stifling giggles, poorly that is, Leanne switched to her native tongue with a bright expression,

“If he did, then it may very well be a trick!” She replied, finally calming herself to prevent her words from being broken with abrupt laughter. She brought her hands together, her slender fingers weaving together delicately.

“I will find my courage, and try one. But only if Reyson tries one as well!”
