A Message from Mod Edelgard

Hello everyone! This is Gretchen, I have decided to step up to attempt to mod and run this group now. Missy and AJ have both been great mods before me but with a lot going in their lives, they do not have the time to run this group anymore. As Missy has previously stated, AJ has been training me and helping me get a good grip on what to do as a Mod too.

It will be a fun and great journey for all of us. Although, as the holidays fast approach us, I wanted to take time to address a few things as Mod now. First, I would gladly like to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season, despite these difficult times in the world. And as a present of sorts, I am placing the group on a hiatus until the beginning of next year. I am not saying that you cannot keep writing, you are more than happy to do so, but activity checks will not be done until next year. 

Secondly, my life has been a bit chaotic as well, but throughout this time I will take my time to devise new things for the group and hopefully create more events and activities to help get the group a bit more active again. I will be doing more with the Discord server too, so if you aren’t a part of it, and would like to be. Feel free to send a message to me and I will send you an invite link to the discord. Again though, this is completely optional.

Third, I understand that real life things take more precedence than here. I will be making a few small adjustments to the rules to help with activity checks after the new year. So please be on the look out for those upcoming announcements.

I would like everyone who is apart of this group to like this post so that they have read and understood everything.

With a further ado though, it will be a pleasure to be working with everyone. I hope all goes well~

A Message from Mod Eliwood

Hello all,

Happy Sunday! I hope you are all doing well despite the craziness that is today’s world. As mentioned in the previous announcement, I will be stepping down from my Mod position, as well as exiting the group.

It’s been an amazing few years with you all, and I’m so grateful I was able to write with such talented people. I met so many fantastic writers, made some new friends, and even grew love for characters I didn’t always appreciate in the past. The impact you’ve all made on me in one way or another will never be forgotten, even as my interests steer me elsewhere.

Though my interest and motivation to write may have waned, I’m still very much interested in Fire Emblem, and my Discord DMs are always open if you’re looking for a chat!

As for the state of the group, a member has expressed interest in Modding and will be trained to undertake the duties of the position, who will be announced at a later date. Mod Flayn will remain to aid the transition, so you will all be in good hands.

A Message from Your Mods

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing well despite this very weird world that we are living in. As you may have noticed, us Mods have been lagging when it comes to maintaining FERP. While we’ve done our best to maintain this group, the truth is that we’ve both had a lot of changes in our lives that has made it very difficult to continue Modding.

Mod Eliwood has been taking on a lot more work at her job as a result of restructuring, is currently house-hunting for her first home, and is in a relationship that absorbs a lot of her free time. She’s the happiest she’s ever been, but she doesn’t have the interest or time to do writing.

Mod Flayn has returned to school, learning British sign language, makaton, and taking courses in education. Their classes are very rewarding, but also very time consuming, leaving them little time for writing and group management.

As a result, we would like to step down in our positions as Mods. With that being said, we would like to know if anyone is interested in taking over managing the group. If so, please send us a message.

If not, we will evaluate what to do next.
