I grew up watching Michael Schumacher in the 2000s. It felt like it was always him and Ferrari winning, red on the TV. That was comforting, wasn’t it? To know that your hero would win at the end of the day. At least, that was the impression I had.
Thinking back though, I realize it wasn’t that Michael always won. It was that he always fought. It didn’t always work out for him and Ferrari. But Michael always kept fighting. That was what was reassuring. No matter the outcome, you know Michael will keep fighting.
And it’s a much needed reminder that I didn’t grow up watching Michael to be the kind of person that gives up. Not when it’s something you love, not when your passion burns as hot as a star, pure light. We’ll take a break if we need to, because not everything works out all the time. But we’ll always get back up and we’ll keep fighting.

honestly, no matter the results tomorrow the biggest winners are still the tifosi and the beautiful but unjustly neglected Imola circuit and the team that made it possible for the tifosi to be as passionate and hungry as they’ve always been, for the Imola circuit to be filled with fans and Ferrari flags once more, for the fact that after two hard years and even more, we are finally reunited and we dream, once more. because to dream is a most beautiful thing, and the foundation upon which Ferrari’s legend and the tifosi’s eternal passion is built upon is that very dream of victory, since the very first time that Enzo Ferrari himself had raced and then put his own cars on the track.
