Ran into Mr Mark Meet at DragonCon Thursday and he stopped to talk when he heard his name. When he mentioned the ME Board Game announcement, even though I hadn't seen the official trailer, because of you I was able to talk about how fun Hagalaz aa a setting was going to be. Thanks so much for being the guy who knows everything and willing to share it with us!

I take it by the "going thru the archive" reposts you're moving away from Tumblr for good? Have you figured out where you're landing yet? So we can follow you?

I'd like to, but honestly at this point I'm not sure where I'd go. I'm keeping tabs on a couple of platforms, and I will definitely talk about it A LOT on here before I move, I'll leave links and such, but it might not be for a while in any case. Going through my archives is mostly just preparedness; I should have done it before now, to single out and save off essays and how-tos that I'd like to preserve. (Stuff like the Avengers drinking game, old story ideas I never archived properly, etc.)

So -- it's more like a long-overdue spring cleaning than packing to move, at least at this point. There's a lot of stuff I need to work on in terms of mild changes to my online presence, but last week I was really having a time of it and I realized I was trying to change too much too fast, so I'm slowing down a bit. Prepping the book, trying to design a newsletter template and a new website, dealing with Tumblr's UI shenanigans, and a few other personal life things all at once was ambitious but not advisable. :D

A while ago Asahi newspaper explained how the drink vending machines in Japan sells both cold and hot drinks operate. As you can see in the picture above, behind the display the drinks are organized by rows - cold drinks are and hot drink temperatures are stored separately then maintained by a machine that provides both cooling and heating. 

Each room is separated and kept with the desired temperature with a vacuum insulation material -> Cooling and heating settings can be changed for each room -> It's possible to modify the number of items to be cooled/warmed based on information such as product sales -> The heat bomb works as a cooler and as a heater by recycling the heat generated during cooling.

The settings can be changed so that's why the same vending machine during summer only sells cold beverages but during winter it can also offer hot drinks!

But mr cooper badge sir what the redditors did was completely legal. I don't think they qualify as privateers

I mean, Privateers were commissioned by the royalty, so technically also legal! That’s what separated them from pirates, the Letter of Marque. Or have I been LED ASTRAY? 

Don’t get me wrong, I think what they did was both legal and in some ways commendable, but they also still basically gamified an unfair system rather than rejecting it, so....
