crooked the road by the immensely talented @charlesleclerc - starting off with one of my favorite fics of all time. i will never ever stop praising this masterpiece, literally changed the trajectory of my life. so gutwrenchingly beautiful and the writing is truly impeccable. at first i was hesitant to read it, but then i finally started it and next thing i knew it was 6am and i had finished the whole thing in one sitting. if you haven't read this please please please do! 💕
at arm's reach by the lovely @n1mmue - you might have guessed by now based on the amount of times i've rec'd nimmue's fics that i'm obsessed with their writing, and you would be right! they're sooo good at writing hot fics that are loaded with emotion and complex characters. i'm a sucker every time! and i love the concept of carlos standing up for himself and getting what he deserves. delicious fic :)
these strange days by my beloved @alacants - god where would i be without this fic, literally another life changing fic imo! carlos isn't necessarily the focus of the fic, but he does haunt the narrative in a way that alacants captures sososo well. it was perfect when it first came out, and it still stands the test of time after everything that's happened so far since too. also i think it's my duty to help spread to ferruero agenda after they so generously infected me with the ferruero brainworms hehe <3
sol invictus by the amazing lightpirate (not sure if they have a tumblr or not) - idek what to say about this fic it's just soooo asdkfhsljf. this is one of the first sincaraz fics that i read, and from that moment i was hooked. it's such an amazing concept and the fic is written so beautifully i'm pretty sure i cried reading it the first time. even though i read it over a year ago i still think about it to this day, that's how good this fic is! lightpirate also has some other amazing fics as well that i absolutely recommend checking out ♥️
