A New Beauty Spotted - ferrymansgambit
Cleveland, Ohio. A port city. Like most of its kind, it was one filled with the creepies and crawlies of all kinds—human or non. Though, the everyday folk only seemed to notice a certain kind, the ones that robbed banks, went for a joy-riding police chase that ended with four dead. Or serial murders that was assumed to be human, and some times, they were correct. Every-so-often it would be a Vampire, Werewolf, rouge Elf, Reaper, something immortal that would mosey through and cause a mess. But there was no crazy like the human-crazy. At least all the immortals were doing it out of starvation.
Though, the brunette would argue he was doing it from starvation as well. Starving for art that left a mark so deep in the planet one cannot even erase, starving for that last look upon the paint and scribbles, that rush of feeling accomplished. Starving for that feeling of blood on his hands. Milo Cain. Perhaps his last name had cursed him into feeling this way, but he never paid attention to such things. Biblical or not.
He was wandering about the streets, starving and watching each person walk by. How beautiful he picked up each one, his eyes tuned in on each beautiful part. And all thought of them as horrid scum, Milo could change that. Change them into the artwork they deserve to be. Maybe he would get lucky tonight, as he was feeling inspired. Run into some drug addict too high to know what was happening, the brunette could show them just how beautiful they were right before they died. What better ecstasy?
Maybe he had gotten too much into his own thoughts, as when he turned a corner, he ran straight into someone. Maybe the High Heavens would send him a beauty to fix. “Woah, hi there!” He spoke with a friendly tone, a wide smile. “You alright?”
