フェスティバル・エクスプレス

1970年、ジャニス・ジョプリンをはじめとした70年代を代表する最高のロック・アーティストが、列車に乗り、カナダを横断するコンサートツアーを敢行、このイベントは「フェスティバル・エクスプレス」と名付けられ、ロック史における伝説となった。

1995年にこのツアーの一部始終を収めた全長75時間にも及ぶフィルムの一部である46時間分が発見された。

そこから8年をかけて権利処理、インタビュー撮影、編集が施されて完成したのが本作『フェスティバル・エクスプレス』である。
