Leverette bounced the rubber ball in his hand to test its weight and catch his pokemon's attention. The Eevee's large ears perked up for a moment before falling flat against its back once more. His large eyes tracked its up and down motions, though, and Levy gave Aelferic a small smile. Crouching down, he held the ball out for a second so the timid pokemon could get a better look before rolling it a short distance away. The light-colored Eevee followed it after a second of hesitation and rolled it around with a paw before picking it up, turning its head to glance at the waiting man, hand outstretched to receive it, and smiled when Aelferic padded up to him. He sniffed at the offered fingers and dropped the ball into his open palm, back legs trembling with the slightest of shivers in muted unease, and Levy ran a soft hand down his back.
"Good," he told his Eevee, giving it one more pet before tossing the ball a second time, a little further down the path. Aelferic, still unsure of what exactly the purpose of this was, trotted slowly after it. Ears lifting just a bit, her glanced about himself but didn't move to pick up the ball. Instead, his tail fluffed out and he barked, a small, muted sound, at the unknown road ahead.
