I wish I could draw for shit, because imagining versions of the Upside-Down that're linked to different D&D realms is making me pump my fist in the fuckin' air. Like, when Hawkins links to the Abyss then the upside down is this dark, desolate place, right? Imagine the Upside Down if Hawkins were linked to the Fey Wild; a Hawkins overgrown with lush vegetation, where the spore-like particles that float through the air are replaced with firefly-like fairys, the harsh red portals of the Abyss-side-Down being replaced with a lush foresty green. Or the Upside Down of the astral planes, an infinite white void with the occasional Hawkins landmark floating on it's own little island with an etherial white portal. A Pandemonium-themed Upside Down that twists Hawkins into something out of a German Expressionist film. An Etherial Plane Upside Down where Hawkins is a ghostly spectral version of itself, where nothing is quite tangible and the spirit of everything awful that's happened in the town still lingers, where Barb is still screaming and Bob is still being devoured and both Billy and Eddie eternally choke on their own blood in their dying moments in a haunting ghostly form. Imagine all the crazy shit you could do with an Upside-Down inspired by fuckin' Limbo! Does anyone else see the vision?!

Backstory: Gink was one of a clutch of 28 dragonborn, deep in the mountains, the rest of their siblings had already hatched when they were attacked by a fey, they all died, their souls detached by the fey, they took Gink as a host, eventually gink grew, an albino people assumed they were a white dragonborn, they learned magic but the ghosts sometimes cause it to go wild. They joined an adventuring party that got dragged into the fey wild, where they searched for the fey that killed their family.

Who are they: Haunted by their 27 dead siblings (they all talk over each other), they cause their magic to go wild, is very easily overstimulated, anarchist, oblivious socially, naturally charismatic,
