Are y’all still using the “Femslash February Celebrates Black Women” tag? Because, that is so helpful when I’m trying to specifically find us. Them people put “Black” in ANY post, making searches virtually impossible to do easily. It’s Black History Month. I deserve to be able to see hella Black wlw content when I try to search. Help a sista find the things.

She sets down her emotional support hot pink gel pen with a clack, its fuzzy tufted end tickling her knuckles, and reads the whole speech back, pretending that she is Francesca Findebair, the most beautiful woman in the world and she has just been pulled aside by her exceedingly awkward classmate only to be given the worst and most embarrassing confession of feelings ever carefully-constructed on expensive stationary.
Fringilla hands the stationary over to Cahir, who begins folding another airplane.
Assire sighs which prompts Fringilla to sigh spitefully which prompts Cahir to sling the swiftly-folded airplane at her head. It coasts harmlessly over her braided scalp and falls to the floor, joining dozens of others.
"Well that's settled. I just won't go to class the rest of the semester. I’ll show up to give our final presentation together, and then flee the country," says Fringilla.
"You've never missed class a day in your life," says Cahir.
Fringilla folds her arms and glares at him, knowing her satin pajama set does not make her look particularly threatening.
"I have the avian flu," she says firmly.
"Professor Emreis won't buy that," says Cahir. "He'll fail our whole group out of spite."
"Plus that doesn't make any sense, Fringilla. Francesca's not in the history program like you two. The chances of her classes overlapping with yours next year are–"
Fringilla flops forward against the desk, head dropping into her folded arms.
