Fall 2012 Founder Fuel Demo Day

Except for Sarah who was a bit sick during the day (rest assured, she feels much better today), Michel, Carl and I decided to attend "Founder Fuel Demo Day" so we could get closer to the Montreal startup community and feel the magic that reigns at this kind of event.

  No less than 800 people attended Demo Day yesterday including investors from all the continent, to hear startup pitches from the 8 Founder Fuel selected teams.

openera | Openera automatically organizes email and cloud files to meet corporate compliance requirements and allow the right people to find files fast.

reelyActive | reelyActive connects THINGS to the cloud.

Urbita | Urbita allows people to share the love and passion they feel for their cities, while inspiring others.

I must say we’ve been very impressed by the quality of the presentations. Sometimes funny, often very cool and always interesting; it was a real source of motivation for us!

And after an hour listening to all the presentations, we felt so excited and inspired by our fellow Montreal community members that we decided to celebrate with the quintessential Montreal meal - Poutine. I know, I know, we are a health and wellness team but a little bit of poutine every once in a while never hurts ;)
