Seraphina Kimball AU bio Task004

When Seraphina had woken up in a hospital with no recollection of who she was and a swollen belly she had been shocked and confused. A sort of devastation falling over her when she found out from doctors that she’d been in an accident. 

They said it was likely she had amnesia from the fall and blow to her head, they’d told her that at the time she’d been brought in she was already two months along. 

Now she is determined to find the father of her child, find anyone who might know who she is. 

After being given an otherwise clean bill of health she’d discharged herself and set out to maybe retrace her steps, she’d found out where she’d been found and realized it was close to the city New Orleans. 

She had no idea why she’d been walking out of the city, why she didn’t have any identification on her. Eventually she made her way to New Orleans and found a hospital, she was hopeful that someone there might know who she is, maybe someone had come looking for her there. 

She’d already tried the police station but no one there had known anything, they’d offered assistance to her, offered to run her fingerprints but nothing had come up in their system. They said that was a good thing since it meant she wasn’t a criminal. But it hadn’t brought her any peace of mind. Instead it only worried her more, did she have no one to report her missing? What about the father of her unborn daughter? Surely they were missing her..

Isabelle Strand AU bio  / Task004

Nicknames/Alias: Bones  Occupation: Attending Orthopedic Surgeon 

Isabelle grew up with three older brother so she was always running around or doing sports. By the time she graduated from High school she’d pretty much broken every bone in her body just in the pursuit of trying to prove she could keep up with her brothers on the field and off of it, which is what led her to her interest in orthopedic surgery. She knew going into med school that it was a specialty that she was most drawn to, but she didn’t make the decision to fully commit to it until she spent a few years in the peace corps and started to study alternative ways to get bones to heal for maximum function and quicker recovery times, based on her time working with people who couldn’t take weeks off in a hospital just to recover from surgeries. 

She has a pretty interesting lab where she conducts her research and develops custom prosthetics and people come from all over the world to see her for the excellent work she does with patients healing from extensive injuries to their bones, extremities and spine. 

In terms of her teaching, she only invests her time in a couple of interns a year and other than that she isn’t very open to letting other interns have control in the OR, so if you’re on the good list you’re golden and if you’re not, you’re benched for the whole season.

Stefanie Salvatore Kennedy Cordeaux AU bio  / Task004

It’s not easy being a teenage girl, but it’s even worse being the teenage girl who’s always sick. She grew up normally, she was happy with her life at home with her parents and the large extended family that she had being a Cordeaux and a Dane, and it was amazing that the tumor was able to grow for so long without causing any symptoms that would make all the doctors and surgeons in her family take pause and think anything was seriously wrong. 

It wasn’t until a few months ago when she fainted just before walking to school with her sister, that she had a CT scan done and the tumor was discovered, and since then she’s had several surgeries with the surgeons trying to take out a bit of the tumor each time without her losing any memory or motor function. At this point she is too fragile to move out of the hospital so she’s made it her home as she waits for her next surgery.

Elijah Mikaelson AU bio  / Task004 

“It’s a beautiful day to save lives.”

Nicknames/Alias: Mcdreamy (sue me)  Occupation: Attending General Surgeon, trauma surgeon (double board certified) 

Growing up in a family with a renowned surgeon for a dad, the standard and expectations of Elijah and his siblings was up there, and impossible to reach. As one of the older siblings in their large family, Elijah got a lot of Mikael’s expectations and anger thrown at him, but he also decided early on that he wouldn’t be a pawn in his father’s game so right after he finished his residency, he enlisted in the army, fighting the war and saving lives on the field instead of going the traditional route of going through fellowships and then becoming an attending. 

He is a highly decorated veteran, and is still dealing with the aftermath and consequences of literally living in a warzone for many years of his adult life, but now that he has returned and is now just a surgeon, he’s become one of the favorites among the interns and residents because of his hands on approach to teaching, not being too precious with the interns and letting them find their footing in an OR under his watchful eye.

Lexington Cordeaux AU bio task004

Lexi Vane came from a long line of doctors and while her family loved the knife and having their arms elbow deep within a body cavity or looking within a human skull. Lexi however wanted to touch lives in a different way, to bring life into the world and help her patients realize their potential as parents. Becoming an obstetrician and gynecologist fit hand in hand for her, she wanted to ensure the safety and well being of women and newborns.

Even more so with the aid of her husband Wesley, she often sent her patients to him to for a relaxing massage. Often giving them slightly biased personal experience stories from her own two pregnancies, well make that three now. Lexi the ever unwilling to let her patients down is finding her current state rather difficult to handle.

As other doctors have urged her to take on bedrest while the doctor is assuring them she can handle her own limits and wants to be there for her patients until the very last moment into her own pregnancy. So while she should be laying in her own bed, she is often found walking around checking up on her own former patients and stealing charts to look at.

Oskar Kenner AU bio task004

Oskar Kenner grew up with a single mother household and figured he didn’t miss out on anything, his half-siblings certainly didn’t have something he didn’t knowing who their dirtbag father was so he felt he wasn’t missing out by not knowing the dudes name. Sure he heard his fair share of him being a test tube baby or that his mom made him in a lab which was easy enough to get over  as a kid. 

However he did feel the pressure as he got older having to follow in the family line of being a doctor of some sort or another. He didn’t want nor need to have that kind of pressure on him. Holding human life in his hands wasn’t something he wanted to live with, knowing that one false move on his part could ruin a family. 

He did love the idea of helping others though and while joining the law enforcement field might be looked down on he decided that the best course of action was to put his talents in the medical field to use for the law. Working in the morgue was the least favorable place for anyone who went to med school it seemed but his notes, findings and the like could result in some real time for killers and that was what made him proud.

Ignacio Ramirez AU bio task004

Iggy was raised in a military household and so it only made sense that he would fall into their footsteps, joining as soon as he hit enrollment age, with his parents signing off before his eighteenth birthday. Since then he had been training as a field medic and looking to get his medical degree through the army. He had seen two tours over his course with the army and since coming stateside once more he has taken up a trauma surgical residency.

He has been known to use any and all tools around him in the field, even makeshift tools out of everyday objects, such as pens, straws, balloons, what have you. He’s a stern sort of man, who had grown up too quickly and placed the weight of his men and the rest of the world onto his own shoulders. Often found going against the rule book of the hospital for the good of anyone one his table. 

The only person who knows even a fraction of what is going on in his head is Josie Saltzman, another doctor that he met through a panic attack in a supply closet, where he found her as a crying mess. The two seemed to offer each other a sense of calm and understanding that they lacked through the others around them.

Cami O’Connell AU bio task 004

Cami O’Connell was raised by her priest uncle along side of her twin brother, a wolf in sheeps clothes, is how she would describe the men of the church. Granted not all were bad, her uncle was a good man, naive if anything but good nonetheless. As Cami grew older she was curious about the human mind, why people did sick things to good people? Were good people capable of just as sick things? If they did those things were they no longer good people?

During her college years she met a man who pushed her buttons, played with her mind and head, tried to push her around, and worst off he reminded her of some of the men from the church that her uncle unknowingly left her brother and her alone with more times than she was willing to think back on.

One night when he had too much to drink he tried to lay in on Cami, talking about her brother, threatening her, even went as car as to lay hands on her. Something within the woman snapped that evening and it didn’t take much for her to take the beating, let him drink himself silly and pass out. While he was snoring in the living room she entered with a knife and cleanly slit his throat. Calling the police and sat outside smoking a cigarette till the police came to collect her.

Sentenced to death row in prison was no joke, more so because she was so freaking bored with being stuck in a small cell with only an hour of sunshine a week. In fact it was so boring that a handful of razors down her throat seemed like the best way to get a nice vacation in the local hospital with a stud C.O watching over her, its pudding and dirty hospital sex for this inmate.
