How to make your very own DIY keychain!!

Here is what you will need! As you can see I did one for my darling Sunny!

- an elastic string or string, beads of your choice, a small printout or drawing of your choice, and clear scotch tape (laminating works too! but I have tape on me), a safety pin or knife to cut a hole.

ALSO! when drawing or printing, make sure again your image is small enough to fit in the tape and have some clear space!

1. 'laminate' your picture by laying a layer of clear tape sticky side up, place your image inside carefully, then place another piece on top to 'laminate' it. if there is a lot of excess cut some of it, but leave a thin frame like above in the image!

2. cut a small hole for your thread to go in, and once threaded, add the beads of your choice before closing it good! 

3. TADA! you made a mini charm keychain! you can then attach this mini chain to a larger chain if you wish or attach it to a clip! I threaded it through a spare metal chain i had and attached it to my pencil case as you can see!

After a slight frenzy of boiling beeswax and cute little shapes...

(I use and sell these for sewing, because when you're trying to sew by hand your thread often snarls up or becomes knotted, which is the worst. Waxing your thread makes it straighten up and behave better.)

hello i am crowdsourcing ideas because i'm at a loss

if you are a creative person, what do you do with the physical things you create? especially if they are not items with a specific use, such as paintings and filled sketchbooks...

i love making things but i have no space to keep all the things i make. none of them are quite good enough to sell; i do give some as gifts (eg handmade notebooks and bracelets) but i make more than i can give away (only one close family member even wears bracelets at all, for example).
