Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario, 2006 was the 30th anniversary of the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos cigars created by the patriarch of the Fuente family, Carlos Fuente, Sr.  In a tribute to his father, Carlito Fuente created the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos 30th Anniversary cigars, Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario, in 2006.

Fuente Fuente OpusX the Lost City. In 2004, Andy Garcia began filming The Lost City and wanted to shoot one of the most memerable scenes of his movie at Chateau de la Fuente in July.  Unfortunately, there was no tobacco plants growning at Chateau de la Fuente during that time because the tobacco plants are usually harvested in March. 2015 marks the 20th anniversary of the world's most sought-after cigar brand, Fuente Fuente OpusX. In commemoration of the 20th anniversary, 200 limited edition FFOX Father and Son humidors are produced by Prometheus. These French-made humidors come with 50 rare vintage Fuente Aged Selection cigars including two FFOX Original Belicosos, which were produced in 1994 and have been aged since then - aged for 20 years.

Since father and son were a team, it was quickly decided that their last name should be represented twice on the new cigar – FUENTE FUENTE. The rest of the name came much later. OPUS, the Latin translation of obra, Spanish for work of art, was chosen to symbolize the cigar's superior quality. Out of the total annual release of 500 boxes, 350 boxes were shipped in November 2014.

Opus22 was first released in 2004. Thanks to your generous support, Prometheus and God of Fire have been able to donate over $1 million to Cigar Family Charitable Foundation (www.cf-cf.org) from the sales proceeds since its inception in 2004.

In 2004, Cigar Family Charitable Foundation started the construction of Cigar Family Community Complex, which is located next to Chateau de la Fuente.

The Cigar Family School: Breaking the Cycle of Poverty Through Education

Nestled in the wilds of the Dominican Republic, there is a microclimate that is truly unique. Surrounded by the Central Cordillera mountain range, rich fertile soil and mountain streams, the Bonao region is an oasis in the heart of the Caribbean. Visitors to this remote location might make their way to the town of Caribe, and happen upon an equally remarkable place. Amidst the lush landscape and rolling hills of tobacco farms, the communities surrounding Bonao are some of the poorest areas in the region. Many homes have no indoor plumbing and no electricity. In sharp contrast to this abject poverty is a brightly painted, immaculate primary school and a new high school tucked behind it. Nearby is a modern health center, a playground, an amphitheater, a commercial kitchen, a multi-use center, a basketball/volleyball court and a baseball field. Just across the road is a fish pond, a small animal center and bee hives. But as nice as these facilities are, it is the enthusiasm and the smiles of the kids that let visitors know how special this place really is. Welcome to the Cigar Family Community Complex, a project of the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation and the vision of Carlos “Carlito” Fuente, Jr. of the Arturo Fuente Cigar Company and Eric Newman, of the J.C. Newman Cigar Company and David Luther, executive director of the Dominican Institute for Integral Development (IDDI). What began as a dream a dozen years ago to add a wing onto the one-room local school adjacent to Chateau de la Fuente has become a 23-acre complex serving 5,000 children and their families from the communities surrounding Bonao. Approximately 470 children attend the school which also serves nutritious breakfasts and lunches at no cost. The children have access to clean, safe drinking water for themselves and their families. They play sports, participate in music and drama classes, learn English and French and how to use computers. When they complete the eigth grade, they enter the high school which is the only one in the community. A staggering 92% of its graduates have gone on to college. New Product Release for Fall 2013

In 2013, Fuente Fuente OpusX for Cigar Family Charitable Foundation (aka Opus22) will celebrate its 10th release. Thanks to your generous support, Prometheus and God of Fire have been able to donate over $850,000 to Cigar Family Charitable Foundation (www.cf-cf.org) from the sales proceeds since its inception in 2004.  For the commemorative 10th release, FFOX for CFCF will come with 23 cigars (Opus22 + 1). The 23rd cigar is Fuente Fuente OpusX BigB, which was created in a tribute to Barry Herbst. Herbst is the man who made the molds for all the rare shaped cigars created by Carlito Fuente for FFOX for CFCF.   In addition to Opus 22 + 1, Fuente Aged Selection will release the 6-cigar assortments encased in the limited edition travel humidors (FFOX 6 for CFCF) and limited edition Opus22 10th Release Commemorative Humidors which come with 40 rare, vintage Fuente Aged Selection cigars.  Both of these humidors are produced by Prometheus.                           2012 was the 100th Anniversary of Arturo Fuente Cigar Company. Each box is marked with Destino al Siglo, the logo for the Fuente 100th Anniversary. The total release quantity is 500, and 350 boxes were released in November 2012. Each box is serial-numbered and comes with 22 FFOX cigars in 20 various sizes. Thanks to your generous support.
