UPDATE - AUGUST 22

I’ve sent out the first batch of gift assignments!

If you submitted the sign-up form before August 19 and didn’t receive a message from me, it’s either because:

Timezones, and you submitted it on Aug 19 after the arbitrary point I cut off to assign partners. In this case, don’t worry! You’ll be in the second round of gift assignments when sign-ups close. (Feel free to message me to double check if this is the case.)

You didn’t input your social medias correctly, and not even my patented detective work could find you. I have a list of these people below the cut, please check if you’re on there!

HOW TO SUBMIT MY GIFT?

This is a very common question I’m getting, so here’s a few options:

POST PUBLICLY

If your giftee has listed their social media, just @ them!

I’d also like if you could use #ffsecretgarden and @ me on twitter and tumblr too! (@ffsecretgarden on both)

SEND PRIVATELY

You can also choose to just DM your gift to your giftee on social media or discord!

MIDDLEMAN

If you don’t use any of the social media your giftee uses, or for any other reason, you can ask me to deliver your gift!

IN ANY CASE

I would love if you could send your gift to me too, for compilation purposes. I don’t want to have to chase everyone down again!  _(´ཀ`」 ∠)_

MISSING PERSONS REPORT

Purple means I’ve sent a discord friend request, pink means I have no way of contacting you at all. Sorry if any of you didn’t want this public, it’s surprisingly hard to track people down (or I’m just bad)

CANADA COMPLAINT CORNER

There were about 60 people in this batch, and at least a third of them didn’t input their social media properly! People, do event organizers a favor, please!! Put down what site corresponds to what username! Make sure you’re spelling it right! For discord usernames, remember to have the number at the end, like “username#1234″!!

It took a full day to assign everyone a partner, and then another full day to send out all the messages. I’m going to sleep for a long time (or rather, a week, until I have to do this again)
