Okay here's the story about the best Of Mice & Men concert I've ever been to (This story actually exceeds Tumblr's word limit, so I'll be reblogging this multiple times with sections.)

So my parents and I got there around 12:19pm and actually waited longer than we had to. 26 people had VIP upgrades and were supposed to show up at 1:30pm. All but three of them showed up before then, and we had to wait until almost 2:00 to get in. Two showed up around 1:39 to 1:45-ish. While we waited for the last person (also uhhh fuck them for not caring enough to even show up on time or at all), we could hear OM&M already going through their soundcheck, and I was like “Okay wtf do they not know we’re here??? Did they assume no one showed up? Because that’s impossible!” Everyone was getting really impatient at this point and we basically made a pact to make the last person feel like shit when if they showed up. The staff person with a list of VIP people and laminates made us wait until fucking 1:54, I believe, before letting us in. I was already one of the first people in line, but when the people in front of me went in and spread out I ran up to the rail after getting my vinyl and poster. OM&M were still on the stage and Aaron was like “What’s up guys? How’re we doin’?” I don’t know if I said it out loud but I was like “Fucking awesome!” They soundchecked two songs, Defy and On The Inside (I think? I know Defy was the first one, but I may not remember the second because I got my head hit twice later on. Fuck crowd surfers. 🖕🏻), and then we took the big picture for their Instagram.
