I was telling @enfusiast how in the exclusive demo (hopefully gets released on the ps store) there’s apparently this part where everybody is hiding, because I assume there’s infantrymen nearby, except Cloud and then Jessie whistles at a signal given to her to catch their attention and the only person they see is Cloud so they all go to attack him while the rest of the party sneaks passed them. I get the small and sneaky suspicion that this part is before the last previous trailers where Jessie turns around and says “have fun!” before she runs off with the rest of the crew. If it is that’s great, and funny. But also how they legit just treat Cloud for who and what they hired him for, as the muscle of the group that’s all. I’m positive and certain they don’t trust him at all and I’m sure that’s how it’ll be shown as well, because again before the scorpion comes down to battle Barret is legit convinced that Cloud ratted them out, holds his gunarm up, points it at the back of his head, ready to blow his brains out because he’s sure it was Cloud who did something and why the alarm went off, but then the scorpion comes down and Barret realizes that it was just a triggered defense system of some kind.
So it’ll be a nice and painful trip to see them go from being indifferent to each other to the found family dynamic, them and the rest who will join after this first part.
