Dear PS4 FFXIV Players --

If your PS4 shuts off randomly (like your power blinking for a second), there’s a very likely chance your launcher will go through the first time set-up download all over again. It doesn’t even matter if you’re playing FFXIV during that time or not! Yes, I’m aware that this has been a thing for a few weeks. But, I’m just letting y’all know... it still hasn’t been fixed! I’m not even sure if it’s been acknowledged!

I still have not found a solution for it besides backing everything up to another HDD (said solution was found in a thread)! Which I don’t have! So, you have to set aside an entire day just to download everything all over again! At least we don’t have to even worry about the servers!

And if you didn’t know about this issue, now you do!

I’m not bitter at all! I swear that I’m aware that there are more important problems! I’m aware that (hopefully) this will be fixed eventually!
