Do you have any major sources of Inspiration for Alfy?

my mental illnesses i liked the idea of a ‘gentle giant’ character a lot, and i just kind of kept piling shameless moe character traits things onto him until he became the alfy we know and love today

When alfy becomes Scary Alfy it is necessary to quickly administer a Cool-Down Hug

guildmaster beatin was alfy’s neighbor growing up and is probably the closest thing he has to a father figure...

rurula would send alfy with (burned) cookies over to him all the time as thanks for fixing the many alfy-related damages to the library 

(but he still starts to sweat whenever alfy comes to the carpentry guild)
